Hey again
This was a scene I always wanted to make!
I wanted to make Buffy as she's held up on the ceiling by Caleb using her own scythe. I've not used the ceiling however as I thought it wouldn't look very good displayed as the ceiling would obstruct seeing the figures themselves.
Here's the scene I based the set upon:
Recipes -
I used a matrix falling agent smith body for Caleb. I remodelled his feet so he could stand and one of his legs to hold him up properly. I sculpted his arms entirely so he could hold Buffy sturdily and the scythe. Mal reynolds firefly head. I sculpted his hair, shirt, scythe wound, arms and jeans
Buffy was made using a prom head cast (which I dremeled the mouth and her cheeks to give her the 'clenched teeth' look) I used a matrix trinity body and deluxe buffy hands. I sculpted her hair, cheeks, arms, shirt, top, jacket, trousers, earrings and cut off the boot heels and resculpted the shoes
The base started off as the bottom of a van helsing castle jakks pacific playset. The pillars started off as long smartie sweet tubes, I covered them in air drying clay (I put a layer of tin foil underneath so the moisture wouldn't damage the cardboard) I then sculpted details into the pillars. I covered all of the van helsing flooring with DAS white air drying clay and then added the pillars into the flooring. Buffy is actually held up via a small pin in the pillar running through her foot. Her other foot is able to rest on top of the pillar to give her more stability. The back walls are MDF which I made bricks out of the clay and covered wood with them. I then painted over everything
Accessories were - charmed valhalla chair and wall torch, 1/12 dollhouse jars, small egyptian bast cat painted brown. I cut up some red cotton material and sewed a curtain on a pole with golden netting over it.
Thanks for looking! Comments are appreciated
