I know there's one for season 8 which I was lucky enough to find in a 2nd hand shop cheap. I've not read any of season 9 yet - is this going to be on DVD if anyone knows?? What about angel season 6??

Won't count on it. Season 8 is only covers less than half of the issues. And since the second volume never got released I doubt they'd do season 9 or 10.

Season 8 was spread over 40 issues and concluded.
DVD covered only 19 of those and they never bothered with remaining 21 issues. I suppose they were not quite happy with the sales.
Ironically it seems The Library Edition of the season was far more successful than the DVDs as they keep on going with season 9 now, as well as the Angel & Faith spin off and I suppose we'd be getting season 10 in same format once the season ends.

I will say that I love the Library Editions! Extra artwork. Small anecdotes. And they look pretty and fancy on the shelf!
I watched the DVD, and while I really enjoyed the animation of the comic, I wasn't 100percent sold on the voice of Buffy. I understand the direction they were going, but it just didn't do it for me.

That's a shame that a season 9 DVD isn't likely. As much as I have read all of the comics for season 8, I quite enjoyed seeing how they transformed them into a motion comic. It reminded me of the animated buffy that didn't get made in the end.
After8 - I agree, I wouldn't just want to watch the DVD's without the comics, just a shame as I would have liked to see what they could have done for season 9. For me, I think they should have gotten the woman who did the voice of buffy in the xbox and PS2 games as she was quite convincing as Buffy. Same goes for Willow, too. I thought Xander was the most disappointing in a way.

I read the same information about Season 8. I enjoyed the 19 episodes of Season 8 and wished they would continue. But I just want the show to continue.
