Check it out here if you haven't seen it already! I'm personally very excited for a prop that I can actually play with and "stab" vamps! I'm even more excited for the possibility of a Slayer's scythe made of rubber and foam like those Nerf axes. If I could safely swing around a Scythe and get something more affordable than the Factory X version, that would be my favorite Buffy product ever.

I'm already on the waiting list! I think it's a steal at $9.95.

Why does this look like a carrot or a de-rooted fresh ginger? Does anyone see this?

Well, yes, but it's a plushy, what else is to be done unless they use a very different fabric?

Well, yes, but it's a plushy, what else is to be done unless they use a very different fabric? I'm all for anyone wanting to buy this item at their own leisure. For myself, I'm not into prop plushy. Although I see some similarity I just don't see that "Brand Recognition" visual of this item by itself. Maybe that's why I don't hold in interest for this particular item. I'd also would've chosen a different item for their inital release into the plushy world like the Vampyr Book or the B logo.

I still want a Vampy cat That seems like the obvious first choice, then mini versions of the main characters. I think it would sell a lot more than non"-people" plushies. Has anyone seen these abduzeedo.com/amazing-hello-kitty-collection-joseph-seniorI think a Buffy, Spike & Angel Hello Kitty plushie/stuffed toy would look extremely cute.

I like the attempt to make something Buffy. Any regular looking stake would be too general and could be for any vampire slayer. They tried to choose something iconically Buffy, hence, Mr. Pointy! A stake is the easiest way to start since most other weapons on Buffy are actual weapons with real manufacturers (knives, swords... Everything but the crossbow and the scythe probably). I've seen some of those Hello Kitty's before, but had no idea there were so many! I can see a Buffy now, her blonde hair, red pants, black shirt, and black books

The shipping cost for just the one item direct from QMx was about $8 for me, nearly doubling the price. I picked mine up at ThinkGeek.com along with some cheap T-shirts. I love the little thing! It's fun to be able to play with it and not worry about actually stabbing anyone or anything.
