Hey guys! So along with my Sam Winchester statue that I made, I decided to go back and completely upgrade my Castiel sculpture. I explain all of the changes in this video. The major changes is that he now has legs and a brand new paint job. As always if you could leave a comment and give a thumbs up on youtube, it would be much appreciated! Hey guys, I did some upgrades to my Cas sculpture and this is the 3rd video that I made for it. I decided to replace the video above with the newest one, and you can check it out It's really come a long way since 2013. 7/19/15 updates: New nose and paint job. I also resculpted his hand and angel blade.

He look really good! Really captured his essence! Love the sculpt on the jacket and the paint job on the face!

hmm looking at the photo and comparing the 2, if i were a buyer id say i would have to go with the old one.
the older version there was depth of color that carried over to your sculpting detail; versus the new version that showed refinement in paint technique. the colors or lighter, the eyes sharper, and we loose detailing like the cheeks and forehead line. so its a toss up really, i just like the older version better.
dont take this the wrong way; its not a critique, its just my opinion. both version are done very well and this is sometimes what i have complained about factory figures having either too dark or to light of a skintone or paint applications.

I think the bleaching out effect on the right hand image is due to the flash and not the sculpt or paint apps. The new version is without doubt a better sculpt. The sculpt is smoother, proportions are better and the likeness is just right. I really love it!

No I think that's fair. The lighting could have something to do with it, but he is a bit lighter because the original was darker than what I was going for. The color in his cheeks are not as visible in the video, but there is pink there. The lip and nose were too bulky, so I did adjustments with those. This would be a better picture of the more recent changes, cause the color has been this way since last year.

Hey guys, here's a pretty cool update. I went to a Supernatural con in Vegas, and I got a photo op with Misha Collins that included my sculptures! He liked them, and I was very happy that he did.

So do I. These are probably my favorite SPN figures, likeness wise. I really wish we'd get some official action figs. I'm hoping since funko did pops and now mystery minis this year that maybe next year we'll get some detailed figs from them.

Actually, the company QMX is doing some "mastered mini" figures of Dean and Sam. Most detailed figures I've seen that are official yet.
