To anyone that had purchased the MAC Bunny Anya and opened her up for display and may have removed the Bunny Costume, is the body on the MAC figure the same as the one for DST?
Pictures if you have her loose on display please.
The reason I ask is because I recently just got the MAC version of Bunny Anya and this figure is so hard to find now in MOC Condition, it was just a question that is running through my head. I know they had a Pre-Production Bunny Anya in the white box, the MAC Carded Bunny Anya, and Fear Itself Bunny Anya. We sense got Season 5 Anya and Book of Vengeance Anya.

The body used for the mac Anya is an unpainted (minus the hands) Willow from the first series

The body used for the mac Anya is an unpainted (minus the hands) Willow from the first series Thanks claw, I remember reading it somewhere that at one point she had a Willow Body under there and it was used as a prototype to show off as another possible figure. Didn't realize it was used for display intent. That would mean the Preproduction Bunny Anya would also follow the same production and the rescuplted body came during the Anya/Tara series. I thought that under the suite she had the Anya Ornament top. Now I'm really thinking there should be some figures out there to match the ornaments for Anya and Wesley.

If you look to her posture and if you touch the body closely through the suit, you can easily imagine Willow's body from the first serie. The painting of the face is also different, IMO the likeness is better, and finally it's why I prefere the first MAC version

Thanks Joan-b, The MAC Bunny Anya I'm looking at is actually sealed MOC so I can't actually touch it and remove the costume. She's going into the MOC Collection. Looking at the MAC Anya ornament I thought that there was a possibility that she would also have the same body paint as the ornament for the MAC Bunny release as to why she cost sooo much money and so hard to find. Anyway I uploaded a quick shot of the MAC Bunny Anya and a loose DST Bunny Anya next together so you can at least look at the difference on the head alone.

The paint of the first MAC is really better... Here is a photo to show you one hand under the bunny suit, as you can see it's the flared sleeve of Willow's blouse, unpainted The high price is IMO just because it's the first release, maybe that for some fans like me, it is also more "authentic" And there is a little Gachnar that comes with this first version, maybe another reason for the high price

I'm not so much looking at Anya's hand as I am looking at the Angel A1 Autograph card. Thanks for the info, I really see the paint difference on the face. Most deff like the MAC paint better. I think I got me another project.

You're welcome I haven't had the chance yet to find David autograph card from Buffy so I bought the one from Angel, and I displayed it in front of the polystone Angel statue, it holds into the gargoyle's claws

IMO the MAC figures in general have way better likenesses (I say in general because I'm excluding series 1 Buffy), holding both versions of Anya just goes to show that the paint quality alone makes for a vastly better likeness. It's obvious more effort went into the original MAC series figures than the later DST ones - that being said I'm still collecting them all! I have both the pre-production white box bunny Anya and the original MAC Bunny Anya MOC. Now need to get myself the newer releases of Anya
