Hi again! This is a set I've just finished making for PJ. It's from the Lithium video, the scene just before Amy Lee walks into the lake. It's the first time I've used scenic snow and I was surprised how lovely the stuff is to work with - very easy and effective. The lake itself is made from layers of scenic water with black paint washes in between each one to add some depth to the water. The tree was a great find from a Sleepy Hollow base and the rest was made up of various other bases cut up and glued together, Drusilla's wall pillars became the wall, rocks added etc. The Evanescence logo was taken from a mould of a pendant PJ sent for reference.
Amy Lee's recipe: Claire from Heroes head ( originally tried it with a Bella Swan head but she looked far too old and thin with the heavy make-up. Amy's face is much rounder, younger and fresher looking). I sculpted her hair, neck, upper arms and sleeves, corset and top waist section of skirt which was a great find on ebay, a potc Tia Dalma figure. Her legs are cut half way up and one foot is from a Lost figure, the other Beatrix Kiddo. I'm really pleased with how it turned out, I think the atmosphere is just right!

Wow! What an amazing scene, like like a scary winter fairy tale or something, but still beautiful. Great effort on the base again, it looks stunnig, love how the scenic snow turns out, great job. Great sculpting on Amy Lee! Love how her foot dips the water. Great paintjob, likeness looks good, never would have recognized the Niki head again. Outstanding piece, lucky PJ!

Sarah, I can't even express how much I love this custom. Everything about it embodies Evanescence, Lithium, and your talent. The scene looks so much like the music video its scary, and seeing that you had no head for Amy likeness you did a great job capturing her face. I cant even reconize the Claire head! lol. This is prob the best and most detailed base I've ever seen from you and I've said countless times before that I think your bases give your customs that one step over the edge from being just customs to works of art. Couldn't have asked for any better, I seriously can't wait to see her in person. <3 thanks so much Sarah! A pure talent! Excited to do some more projects with you in the future.

Thats great to see a music video in a custom, it changes from series, movies ... and you've done a great job. The base is beautiful (i think that's what I love the most in you customs ^^) and the choice of part is excellent. A very beautiful piece !

I love Evanescence! Amy Lee has a very specific look and you pulled it off. I would never have known she was made using a Claire head! Her dress is beautiful too. I first thought it was a Jonax Hex figure but great choice! The base is lovely too, the fake snow works well. Ive seen it but never used it. The likeness is great, i think the heavy makeup brings out her likeness even more. The hand in the hair is a nice touch. One nitpick. Her folded arm seems a little short. Might wanna check that against a real figure arm. It could just be the photos but the space between her elbow and wrist seems rather short. But overall, thats a small part. Great figure. Never seen an Amy Lee before and this one is great Wayne

^I've never seen one either that is why I wanted one done... I collect EV memorabilia on the side. Evanescence is my passion right next to Buffy! haha! omg i love this if i see it on ebay like ive seen 2 of ur customs im getting this if its cheap LOL. She most certainly will not be going on eBay anytime soon...trust me. I think she will be a permanent piece in my collection..as well as her Bargaining set.

Wayne Thanks, but I can't see it myself and I measured both arms from elbow to wrist to check and they're the same. Maybe the photo angle??

Great custom and great likeness, I think another idea for Amy is Cordelia The wish, but once again Smiler did a great job on this one, very artistic
