Help me solve this mystery. I recently traded a friend for this screen-used Chalice that was used on BOTH Buffy and Angel. Here is the tag that came with it:Front-And the back-The number's along the side of the tag in this photo are- 2127 3:1 and 4:4Anyway, I have yet to identify what episode of Angel OR Buffy that this chalice appeared on by going over the numbers and letter's on the tag, however, I think that's the rim of the chalice appearing in the opening credit's of Angel from season one (circled in GREEN)I still haven't been able to positively identify what episode of Angel that stone alter appears in though(it's a stone alter bathed in red light behind the city scape) Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

I never noticed that on Buffy. The thing with those props is they could be from anywhere. Maybe it was a item from a Magic shop. I will rewatch some episodes carefully, maybe its showing up somewhere.

Thanks for looking! No idea what the "GW" or the "SD/V" means on the Buffy side. I originally thought that the number's on the Angel Side "3:1" and "4:4" were season and episode number's. I even flipped them (Episode Number/Season Number) and thought I hit pay-dirt because Episode 3 of Season one of Angel is the Buffy crossover episode concerning the Gem of Amarha--- I've scanned all of the Season One Angel Episodes, still, no joy except for that stone alter in the opening sequence.
I agree with you that it could have shown up anywhere but, the thing to remember is that it was apparently an important enough prop that it was borrowed from Buffy, used on Angel and checked off by Joss (That's Joss' signature at the bottom of the Angel Side) I've still got to take a look at some Buffy Episodes though.
I'll post whatever I find but I think it only fair to offer a reward to anyone that positively I.D.'s it!

Hey, thanks for looking! Very cool idea. I have a similar tag for a cross that was used in Principal Woods "Play Room" from Season Seven of Buffy, I think I'll take a look at that as well for any clues it may have as far as the order of the numbering (since I know what season and episode it's from) I'd love to see your prop too! Thanks again.

After lot's of looking around all the episodes of Buffy and Angel I have come to the conclusion that this was not a "Prop" on either show. The "SD" on the tag is clearly an indication of it being used for "Set Dressing" and never handled or used in the action of a scene in any way. This could explain why I'm not able to find that stone alter bathed in red light with the other metal rimmed glasses on it in any episode of either show. Thanks for looking everyone, it is appreciated!
