Moore Action Collectible figures or Diamond Select Toys figures? I know that the MAC figures are harder to come by because they came out quite a while ago, but I'm wondering about quality. (Like, MAC Angel figures versus DST figurse.) Which is more durable, which looks most like the actor, etc. Also, pictures would be very helpful.

hey there.. I think I prefer the MAC style better with a few exceptions on DST. But, check out this site, I think it has just about every buffy collectible going and all the figures... enjoy! www.buffycollector.com/collectibles.shtml

Oh, thank you! Also, I've seen the Chosen Giles and then the MAC Basic Giles. I think I'd prefer the MAC Giles, though it's a bit more pricey. What's your opinion?

I think the MAC ones are much better, likeness wise. They also have more natural, less stiff poses. Same with the clothing, they simply look less "cartoony".
I wouldn't know anything about durability though, since I don't own any of the MAC figures.
PS. I didn't mix them up, did I, the DST was the later company, the last ones to release the figures?

DST is the later versions-they took over the line after MAC

I personally like the mac figures better. They seem more durable and are more detailed.

Yeah, MAC figures do normally look better, but I don't really think they're quite as durable. I'm not sure why, but limbs tend to break off more easily with my MAC figures. Might just be me.
