here is the first drawing 0f 2012 The drawing features portraits of Colin Morgan (Merlin) and Bradley James (King Arthur) as well as Kilgharrah the Dragon and just a hint of the Castle of Camelot from the BBC TV series "Merlin" note: this drawing is based on promo photos from series 4 which is why I refered to Arthur as "King" instead of "Prince"The next step will be adding colors drawn with No.2 graphite pencil, 2hb Charcoal pencil and white charcoal and prismacolor highlights. Drawn on Strathmore colored paper as always I appreciate constructive comments and feedback so please let me know what you think Merlin and all related characters and properties (including the reference photos used) are copyrighted by the BBCUploaded with ImageShack.us

Wow, Scotty! Although I am not really familiar with this show, the work done here looks amazing. Particularly the detail on the dragon!! Really gorgeous line drawing. Can't wait to see the final colors! Kudos once again! Love Camelot in the background as well!

As always a really fantastic composition of all the aspects! I am so loving the dragon!! Amazing detail on the bone structure, talons of the creature, and the coloring as well. Maybe you should do Angel riding the dragon after Not Fade Away!
