It's been awhile since I've been here but I've currently got a dilemma I've had for awhile and this is the best place to ask!
I've had a Blue Suit Lorne for a few years now and having been thinking of opening it. I usually always open things and don't really like things in there box but as this has been signed by the late Andy Hallett (and opening it will ruin the signature as the seal is right on top of it) I decided against it.
I really want to display him with my other Lorne's but if I regret it there's no going back. Also the packaging has been damaged a bit when I was moving house last year.
I know no one can make my mind up for me but I was wondering what your opinion is? Has anyone opened there's before?
EDIT: This is the 6" not 12" blue Lorne

Is this the signed version? If so, even in a damaged package it would be worth more than loose. So unless you absolutely have to, better keep it MOC.

Yeah it's the signed one. I probably will keep him MOC but he would look so good next to the other Lorne's. I have no plans to sell him at all, but you never know I guess.

I wouldn't open it. it has more value with the sig and being moc. can't you use a drawing pin to hang it up. all my figures are moc and no damage is caused with a pin.

I agree I wouldn't open it either especially with the signature, but it's up to you anyways.

Definatly don't open it! especially because it's signed....if i wasn't i would say go for it. However, with it being signed the value would be increased with it still being MOC.

I have the same figure still in its box with sig under the plastic and there's no way i'm opening it. I have it on the top of my shelf so it is displayed along with Triangle Tara which is also signed. Obviously they are worth more that way but for me its the fact that I dont want to ruin the signatures, especially Andy's, just because of sentiment really.
