Here is a first look at the next drawing in my series of drawings based on the TV series "Supernatural" This drawing will feature portraits of Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester This is the cleaned up under drawing for the first portrait The format for this drawing is a little different than my other Supernatural drawings, for inspiration I am looking to the old animation character study sheets that Walt Disney did of their characters when they were working on the classic feature animated movies and I will apply that format (loosely) to the Supernatural characters Drawn with No. 2 graphite pencil with white prismacolor highlights on Strathmore colored paper Size...yet to be determined As always I appreciate constructive comments and feedback so please let me know what you think Supernatural, Dean Winchester and all characters and properties (including the reference photos used) are copyrighted by Warner Brothers Entertainment INC. Supernatural was created by Eric Kripke

I'm not sure I can see a difference to your normal style. Perhaps you could explain some more on this new method? But I sure do like the result - its very much Dean with every detail! ;D

Lior you really cant see the difference at this point in the drawing but it will be more evident as I add the other portraits in the drawing. the style I am paying homage to is where the artist draws a main portrait of the character and presents it in color and then there will be several smaller (in this drawing 3) portraits done in Black and white. the smaller portraits show either action poses or different facial expressions. I am not copying the style exactly since the Disney style usually has at least 10 to 20 smaller "sketches" around the main portrait. instead Mine will be a more of blending my usual style with their format. look for a new update tomorrow
