Just curious to know if people go through Buffy like this;
Season 6 Season 7 Season 8
Or do most of you not read the comics? I personally have never read them, but i'm considering purchasing a the first "episode" of four issues (if that's what it is). But i've been told that the majority of Buffy fans actually see Season 7 as the end of the show...

i'm reading season 8, and i love it just as much as a love the series! however i'm not loving the whole Twilight as Angel thing, it kinda threw me off a bit, but i'm sure Joss will come up with a great season finale!

I haven't read series 8 yet either, but I know I'll get there eventually. It's just that comic books in general are not my thing, so I'll need to get over the format first

I really enjoy Season 8 so far, and I hope the final 5 issues arc won't fail as a season finale.
However, with Angel, didn't follow the comic books once they were done with "After the Fall".

I read Season 8 regularly, I always make sure to get the latest issue. I really like how it's going. It seems pretty true to the show, for the most part.
However, after reading the first few issues of Angel I stopped reading it. It didn't seem very faithful to the series to me, so I kinda lost interest in it. I will eventually read it though.

SPOILERS AHEAD:
I admit I read each issue as it is released. I am still addicted to Buffy in any way shape or form. I enjoy some story lines more than others, (truth is I dislike more arcs then I actually like), but I HATE HATE HATE this latest arc. Twilight is Angel? Ben is Glory? OMG I just hate it and it has almost soured me to the entire comic. I am giving it the benefit of the doubt and finishing the last five issues, but...I don't know if I can recover from this Angel reveal. It is just so ridiculous. There are moral issues here that Buffy just overlooked to boink Angel 500 times and that just isn't her character. I am very disappointed. Twilight/Angel is responsible for the death of Slayers. How can Buffy even REMOTELY forgive him that? I hope Buffy wakes up in the shower in the last comic and finds out this was all a dream! It is also kinda weird to see Xander and Dawn together, but hey - just sayin.

I like the way the story is going. If you missed it Angel/Twilight explained that he was trying to divert attention from Buffy. Also Angel is the love of Buffy's life so of course she could forgive him. Plus Dawn had a crush on Xander since like season 5, I kind of saw this coming. Not a big fan of Kennedy though. I think that Tara should be brought back somehow, I read a while ago that Jossw planned on bringing Tara back to the show but Amber was unavailabe. Here how it would've happende Buffy would save someon (like usual) only this time she gets a life altering wish and would spen the entire episode wondering what to use it on, then at the end of the episode Buffy shows Willow some new boots. Willow then asks if Buffy spent the wish on the boots and then Buffy replies ,"No, silly", then Tara steps out from behind Buffy with her cute little half-smile.
