I asked about those figures on Twitter last week. Neca is great at getting back to all questions in under one day's time.
"Greyback will be part of Deathly Hollows collection. Weasley Twins should see release some day, not sure when/how yet"

So while Greyback is getting the DH treatment, the twins are stuck in release hell? oh god. im guessing the crappy twilight figures are to blame for this one.

What's up with the NECA license? There's probably so many absolutely brilliant figure inspirations from DH, and yet we haven't seen anything new from NECA. I mean, please, Greyback is not new. Or even that cool for that matter.
(Wow, it's been a LONG time since my last post here. But I digress.)
Anyone has any kinds of words of hope to spread for those like me, who still think the Harry Potter line is the coolest ever?

GAH, how do I keep missing things? NECA posted these pics on their Twitter over a month ago. Here are some quotes to go along with the pics for those who don't follow their Twitter. Release: "October and there is a new Harry and Greyback. All I can say for now" "i will try to post a teaser of Snatcher Chase Harry next week. Greyback is finally coming out as well!" The sculpt looks really nice, but I hope that they make a Ron and Hermione to go with him. Does anyone have any idea on when we will see a complete figure?

NECA recently posted that they are going to try and get a full pic up on Monday. If not, I assume we'll see him at SDCC.

UGH! Major let down. NECA just confirmed that Deathly Hallows Series 1 will be the new Harry, the Greyback we saw years ago, and will be finished out with a rerelease of Snape. Blech.

I REALLY don't like NECA's choice for assortment and character selection. They are lazy choices. I'm thinking about selling my figures and getting the new 5 inch line instead. I like that scale better then the 7 and 3.75 inch figures and even if they only release one wave they still have a good assortment of figures.

I agree with you guys, I'm pretty disappointed too. But I'll get Greyback (no WAY I'm getting another generic-reused-extreme Harry). And, thanks to Kenobi, I'm now following them on Twitter too, and asked about completely new sculpts and cooler figures, and got somewhat positive answers. They said that for this year, unfortunately, we'll only see a few, probably 1 or 2 more other than what's already announced (but this last part is merely me speculating), but we can expect a lot more for '11 and DH part 2.
Do I smell a uber-cool, brand new Voldemort VS Harry from their final battle? (Or was this just wishful... Smelling?)

Hey guys, what's up? I need your collector expertise. So I'm reorganising my collection (have never realised how huge it's gotten lol) and i was taking the neca figures out of their boxes (bought them ages ago but never got round to put them on display!); I'm putting the OOTP Ron on the shelf along with the others and while trying to move his arm...it falls off! Major letdown! I was properly gutted, course I immediately put the arm back in the original position and it seems to be sticking there alright, however my question is: is NECA usually shit with junctures and articulations or are the articulations meant to be "detatchable" so you can break em off and then put them back together in whatever position? Im a huge completist so if i do have broken the figure i'll have to re-buy it, and since they ain't come cheap i was checking with u guys!
Thanks for the help!

Yeah, It will just be Greyback for me too. my question is: is NECA usually shit with junctures and articulations or are the articulations meant to be "detatchable" so you can break em off and then put them back together in whatever position? It's probably just luck of the draw. I don't think I've had any Neca figures break. Even back when that Xander/Cordy Buffy wave came out & everyone said their figures were falling apart....I didn't have one breakage. That definately sucks about your Ron though. It is always upsetting to have a figure break soo soon after opening.

Would some one please, PLEASE ask NECA on Twitter about the possibility of dear Professor Minerva McGonagall? Thank you!

Would some one please, PLEASE ask NECA on Twitter about the possibility of dear Professor Minerva McGonagall? Thank you! Ok, so I asked NECA on twitter: Q: Any hopes for some HP characters like McGonagall ever getting AF treatment? A: possible but unlikely as they would not be strong sellers So, there it is. It's not completely bad, but still, I don't believe we'll ever get a McGonagall from them.

NECA is doing nothing with the license...They didn't even have actual prototypes at SDCC..Only stupid little paper things...Can we get someone who will actually do something?

That's a nice Harry Variant...If I get it I can add to my shelf FULL of HARRYS!!!!! I think there are more Harry variants than other characters combined! This is the first time I think I will give up on a line before the toy company does...then again it feels like NECA already has given up on this line. I think they must have a quota of at least one new character, one variant, and one re-release per movie to keep the license...because that is what this is. This should have been wave 2 of the Half-Blood Prince but instead of a tweeked Harry we should have gotten a tweeked Snape with a more neutral pose, Grayback, and another new character like Lupin, Tonks, or even the Weasley twins in a two pack.
