Ok so the twins are still coming...it is not completely confirmed yet but they may be HBP Series 2. It seems NECA is putting one older character in with each HBP Series. We saw this with Mad-Eye Moody. There is also a character being worked on that everyone wants! That character will not be out till Deathly Hallows though. Sorry I can't reveal anymore...

Not sure about the Twins. I haven't been able to find the pictures - does anyone know where to find them? Or were there pics of them? . I have a pic with them included somewhere on my photobucket... Here it is: Also does anyone have a comparison pic of NECA Hagrid w/ Popco Grawp? I would love to see how Grawp would look with the NECA figs. Gawp would not look good with the Neca figures IMO. I love the Gawp figure, but he's very 'toyish', particularly his body in comparison to the Neca crew.

Where did you find that information? I am friends with someone who knows the owner of NECA personally.

I would love if the "older" character was professor McGonagall.

buffyfannumerouno, no one has any idea as to what is going on with NECA. At this point, they seem to be focusing heavily on Twilight and video games and Potter has been swept under the rug. NECA wasn't being allowed to release anything that wasn't from a film currently in theaters, so they were going to release one non-HBP figure with every series from here out (which is why Moody was included in Series 1). At this point, all we know is that Greyback is coming out in the fall, but whether it's part of a Series 2 or will be released individually (with the DVD, perhaps?) is still unknown. Barb, I haven't seen the pet set in ages. It was sold exclusively at Borders (in the US, at least) and I don't think I ever saw it online. Your best bet is probably eBay. Actually they aren't focus on Twilight either, they have a lot of lines.

Dementor, any chance that the character everyone wants has something to do with your avatar?

Dementor, if you have some minor connections to NECA, you should tell them all the requests that the fans have and put in a good word for us!! I think they do need a few more female characters in the mix, and maybe a female adult but I'll take what I can get!

Yeah I just started to collect the line and it is very male dominated. Sure a lot of the cast is male but there are some very important female characters, but thats just my opinion. I would love to get a Luna, Professor McGonagall, and a new version of Hermione in regular clothes.

Unfortunately we will be seeing Harry in every series. Including HBP Series 2. As of now there are only 2 Series planned for HBP. Then no more figures until DH I believe. I'm not sure when it will be released who is in Series 2 officially. I don't even know when they will be released...it should be soon though.

I guess as long as we get 3 other characters besides Harry in each series. I too would love to see Luna in the next series, it would be nice to see the next series with Harry, Greyback, Luna, Hermoine in regular clothes and The Twins in a 2 pack

Neca do often limit the female figures.
McGonagal & Luna need to be made. They could make a fantastic Tonks & Neca mentioned a long time ago they thought Dolores Umbridge had good potential as an action figure.
Sadly I don't see Neca bothering with Minerva or Trelawney. And It may be too late for Dolores.

does anyone know how to get extra wands from NECA? Speaking of which, as I was cleaning my Neca Potter figures today I accidentally snapped a wand belonging to the Harry holding the crystal ball. But I was going to get the kids with pets set anyway, & I can steal that Harry's wand. My new wave arrived today. They are actually much nicer in person than in the photo's I saw, as can often be the case. I think now all I really need are those earlier DeathEaters (or were they Demeantors?).

The moody pose looks like he does during the ministry battle while the bellatrix looks like she did when she killed sirius but the poses look really cool. i was thinking that if neca does release another harry in the hbp series 2 (bad idea) it will probally be him wearing the quidditch uniform or slughorns part suite.

I just got the new wave the other day at Hot Topic and agree that they look much better in person. Now that is all that I need is the Harry and Dumbledore 2 pack that I have to buy online and pay an outrageous price for shipping. I can't wait to see who else besides Harry and Greyback are in the next series. I am still crossing my fingers for Luna and McGonagal.

Hey guys- I don't mean to interrupt the conversation, but I have a question. I'm getting back into Potter after a six year forced hiatus (long story). I once had every figure Mattel made from Sorcerer's Stone and Chamber of Secrets, but passed on the Prisoner of Azkaban figures as they were either too huge or too tiny for the original six inch scale figures. Anyway, at that time, and still, now that I'm getting back into it and going to be buying more figures, I notice there still is not a figure of my favorite character, Professor McGonagall. Back in 2001/2002 when Mattel had the liscense, the owner of an online store where I purchased a good deal of my collection supposedly asked her Mattel rep about the possibility of McGonagall and the rep replied Dame Maggie Smith would not permit figures made of her, so no, no McGonagall. I didn't really believe it as that owner, I found, had lied to me on several occassions about figure case ratios, rarity, etc. just to hike the price on certain characters. Plus, after all the interviews I've seen and read with Dame Smith, I believe the woman couldn't care less if children were playing with a little plastic figure of her, or collectors had her likeness on their shelves. She did a guest spot on "The Carol Burnett Show" for crying out loud! Now I know Popco made a McGonagall and included her with the Great Hall playset and Gentle Giant made a bust of her, but I see NECA still doesn't have her and for that matter, Tonner hasn't included her in their doll line either. So my question is this: Has anyone heard anything similar to this, that permission is not granted to produce certain items of McGonagall? Or is Minerva a beloved secondary character, simply being given the short end of the stick, as always? I appreciate any information anyone can share. Thanks in advance!
