That's really cool! Thanks for the link. Are they competing with Neca for the most boring Harry Potter toy assortments? ;D PopCo spoiled us rotten....how I miss them.

Can someone tell me why the last line of NECA Harry Potter Figures were like $30 a piece? I wanted to get Ginny out of the line, but dang that price is way to high and some eBayer are asking more than that. I originally thought she was like $19.99 USD at my local comic shop, but at the time I didn't really pay attention. When I went back a few weeks after it was $29.99. I'm like damn that is one pricey figure. The original line or Series 1 was only $14.99 ea at MSRP. So why the mark up?

I've got a NECA MOC Ginny. I paid $14.99 for her, so she's yours for that plus shipping. PM me!

Does anyone know what companies are still producing Harry Potter merchandise? I know Tonner is, but honestly, I think the contract is coming to a close soon. I believe Gentle Giant has one more bust coming out of Deathly Hallows Harry. NECA is done I think. The UK Companies are done. This is really sad :/ I guess I'll just catch up with all the stuff I missed out on before.

I guess I'll just catch up with all the stuff I missed out on before. Yeah, I guess that's what I will be doing too. Still a few figures & sets I need to get. From PopCo I never did get the Room of Requirement or the Gryffindor Common Room. Didn't get the Half Blood Prince figures aside from Ginny. Though all that stuff seems really hard to get already. From Neca I didn't get the kids with pets set...not that it's a set I was dying to get but It would be nice to have the animals. I skipped the first series Death Eathers but I'm not sure if I'll bother with them. Still have to get the series 2 Harry, Ron & Hermione from Tomy.

To be honest you can probably custom the animals as they were not very detailed at all. I'm thinking you can buy a bag of the plastic animals and repaint them a ghostly white color of a deer, dolphin, owl, whatever.
The NECA set were very detailed to character likeness and I like them old school with not to much articulation so they seem statue like.
I never purchased the Tomy, or the Popco, or any other country variants. I did get a crystal Hermione Gentle Giant Bust mini.

I got the NECA Harry, Ron Hermione 3pk for $30 at Border's a few years ago. It doesn't specify from which movie they were though. And I also have Mattel George Weasly (my fav!) in Quidditch outfit from Sorceror's Stone. I don't remember what I paid for that though since it was so long ago. I have a lot of other HP odds & ends but those are the only figures I bothered with.

I guess I'll just catch up with all the stuff I missed out on before. You really got me thinking about Harry Potter when you posted that! So I jumped on eBayUK & grabbed the remaining PopCo playsets I needed, the Common Room & Room of Requirement. Both are really awesome sets. The warped floors don't bother me too much. PopCo Common Room Playset PopCo Room of Requirement Stacked Also grabbed PopCo's HBP Hermione in the casual clothes today on eBayUK. Saw the Tomy series 2 figures as well, but they will have to wait a few weeks.

That is awesome! I'm so happy for you! I need to somehow find a way to get Popco figures here in the US.

Does anyone recall what other PopCo items were planned?
From memory there was a toy convention where people saw Dumbledores Office? Photo's were not allowed but surely there were a few items displayed that didn't make it.

I remember some stuff NECA never gave us either. I really wish Popco had stayed afloat to give us all the characters. They seemed to be going in that direction. It sucks that you can barely find them anymore :/

Yeah, the HBP Luna seems very hard to find. But, I did find Hermione on eBayUK & now I have her: (woo hoo!) For some of the OoTP girls (Herione included) they used seperate hairpieces, with this HBP Hermione they did not & there is some ugly face paint going onto the hair down the sides. Seperate hairpieces are a much better idea for long haired characters.

Weren't the HBP lines released by Cards Inc.? And then Tomy picked up the line? Or did it go from Card Inc. to Popco?

The 4" figures are from Corgi's action figure division, which was originally called Cards Inc but changed their name to PopCo. Atleast I think that's what happened.
The PopCo lines covered OoTP & HBP. I believe Tomy's 5" line just covered Deathly Hallows 1 & 2.
