I got to see the early sculpts of Bella and Edward at the october tonner convention and they looked pretty good to me. Bella especially. They also have a brand new 'teen' body sculpt for Bella that should be pretty awesome. I imagine tonner will do a standard Bella and Edward in their basic casual clothes and I bet he does them in their prom clothes too. I would love to see the baseball uniforms too. Though there is a decent chance that he might do separate outfits so we might see uniforms and prom clothes that way. At the convention Robert Tonner said that if these sell well they may make more of the characters. I cannot wait to get them! I collect several of the Tonner dolls and they are always amazing. And you really cannot find a nicer group of people with better customer service.

Yeah, I would really hope he makes jacob too...but he might save him for the second film...assuming he retains the license to do all the films. I would love to get all the Cullens. He could use the beefy superman body for Emmet...

I think he will have the lisence for the other films. I imagine that these will sell very well. There are so many Twilight fans.
And I hope he saves Jacob for later. He will have to make a new body for him though. Because he is super tall. And all the Cullens are a must!

Does anyone have a complete list of all of the Twilight cards. I pre-ordered the binder and base-set, but does anyone have a list of the other cards (shetch, piecework, exclusives) ?

Also what are the Tonner dolls made of and how much does one cost? The Tonner dolls are made of really hard plastic. I don't know the exact name of it, but they will not break easily. Tonner is quite expensive. The Potter dolls are going for around $130 retail. The new Luna is $160. I suspect that the Twilight dolls will be around the $130 mark. Maybe a bit more than that.

A seprate outfit can cost anywhere from $20-$200. It just depends on how much there is to the outfit. I predict that the Twilight outfits will be around $50-$80.

Edward and Bella are the two planned Tonner dolls right now. Same with the NECA figures.
I will be collecting both lines. I know Tonner is expensive but it is worth it.

Yeah the Tonner dolls are definitely worth it. They are 16 to 17" tall and made of vinyl and hard plastic. The hair is either rooted saran or really nice wigs. Edwards will likely be wigged as it is hard to get the shorter hairstyles right with rooted saran. The faces are hand painted and the details on the clothing are always amazing..Makes sideshow dolls look like dollar store barbies.
Most doll dealers discount the dolls 20% off. When it gets closer to the time to order, I will post some link with the best deals. Sometimes they are cheaper after they have been out for awhile...but it depends on the popularity. Like some of the Harry Potter dolls are impossible to find or sold out...others you can score for $50. I suspect that unless these dolls look horrible, they will be pretty popular and thus might be a good idea to pre-order them while you can.

LOL Yeah, several sites will have them for great prices. I will also post some links to places I buy the Potter dolls.

I expect Tonner will debut them at Toyfair...but you can also sign up for the mailing list at www.tonnerdirect.com. So as soon as they debut at toyfair or whenever he decides to shows them, they will quickly go up for pre-order at various places. You can always get the dolls at tonnerdirect.com but will likely pay full retail (though they do have some good sales now and then). Some other popular dealers include Cherished Friends, Dolly Planet, Happily Ever After, Angelic Dreamz, and Marsha's Dollhouse. There are more..and you might be surprised to find a local dealer near year that might have it and save you the shipping costs...
