For such a tiny scale both Buffy and Angel look pretty good. Where have you got them?

So they come in sets of 12 right? If so who else will be made?

The Angel looks pretty dope. I'll wait and see on the others. I'd buy them straight away if they had an Angel set in the works. It never gets any attention though

I still don't get this bit - are these part of that DVD magazine subscription? Because I checked the site and it doesn't mention the figures at all.

I assume that they are going to run separate to the DVD release. Over here we had Marvel and DC Comics figures releases fortnightly for £8 a pop. I am presuming the Buffy/Angel ones will be the same. However, in the current financial climate, I hope the price is revised to be more reflective and around a fiver. Eaglemoss do provide outside of the UK subscriptions (if only all countries were so obliging eh?), so once this is up and running, I am assuming Eaglemoss will charge international shipping rates but the subscription will be available. Question is: will it stop at 12 which is a nice series number for the core characters or will they take it on and on?

I don't believe it. After I had totally given up hope & collecting they go & do this. Gits. I am just going to have to collect all 12 & any more they bring out. I want these & I want them now. The more the merrier. ;D

Usuallly you can buy separate IF you can find a shop that carries them. Many newsagents and stores have the first one as it is usually a promo price and then the second issue, after that they vanish so subscription is easier.

I promised to find out more info and here is what is known so far: Release date is 19 March 2009. These are "Specials" that accompany the current DVD collection - I believe that subscribers will be able to buy them at a reduced cost, but like MARVEL and DC they will be available to non-subscribers via the website www.buffycollection.com . I was slightly out in that the plan is for 10 figures (not the 12 as I previously mentioned) and if sales do well there will be an awesome display plinth coming out to accompany them. 4 figures pencilled in for this year BUFFY ANGEL SPIKE FAITH That's all for now

Can you order these if you live in the U.S? My guess (and it is only a guess) is that you won't be able to order direct to US . this is a similar situation with DC and CMFC. However, both of these collections have been released within the US and can be sourced through the likes of Diamond or your LCS. One of the ways we got around this at early stages of CMFC was for a forum colleague in UK to buy and then send on to collector in US, OK postage ups the price a bit but rather that than getting ripped off via eBay. My advice, find a UK penfriend ;D

As far as I understand it the figures will be available to subscribers of the DVD collection at a "subscriber price" (usually a pound or so cheaper) but will be available for anyone else at full retail price. Just keep an eye on the www.buffycollection.com website for more info as it comes out. There is also a message board as part of the site but I have been unable to see any of the messages at the moment, so that part of the site may not yet be fully functional.
