Huge weapon and not great likeness, but I think it could be very cool to have on my shelf.

Looks like it may be a special for the DVD release. In other words, subscribe for a hideous amount of money (£250-odd quid just for 7 seasons of Buffy) and we will give you a binder and a poster.
Hang on no one has subscribed so lets churn out some lead Buffy figures.

Hmmm... Not the best facial sculpt, and the shoes are quite off. The head reminds me of the MAC series 1 sculpt of Buffy. They must have been looking at that vs actually looking at SMG (since series 1 has virtually no likeness to Sarah in it).
It's nice to see some new stuff out there of Buffy, but I'd prefer it if the old figures would come back.

It looks ok, kind of comic like. I agree that the resemblence isn't there, the weapon is too big and the shoes are too high. Maybe it is just a prototype and the will tweak it to make it really good.

And she should really have the hammer as well as the sickle.

I just noticed that her arm is too muscular and fleshy too.

BTW this figure will be like 2-3" high so I wouldnt worry about the resemblence. As for the weapon being too large, in comparison to what? I guess the figure is based on Buffy in the episode "Anne" but you could argue it's just Buffy in training gear wielding a large sickle, plus it looks much larger in the first picture because of the angle.

I like the over-sized Hunga Munga. Think it looks cool. So is this like a Magazine exclusive or something? (i'm going off what Vicks said)....no one seems to have mentioned that part

I think it's a real neat concept. It reminds me of the game HeroClix or the pieces from the Buffy chess game. These types of lead pieces can really look nice with custom painting. I know the market for the Warhammer gaming pieces are very popular among customizers.

well for one instant i believe it was a prototype of Neca or something like it. Too bad we don't get any new figures for the moment, is there any news that some company will make figures of buffy?

Hi All, Grim Reaper here from the marvelcustoms and superherofigurineforum sites. Buffy image on my website is a pre-production sample that Eaglemoss will be releasing shortly as a run of 12 figures. The pre-prod model shown is on a round base but the actual figures will be on little hexagons. I have the first figurine at home, i'll get some images up of the 95% finalised figure as soon as I can. cheers All TGR

The Angel one looks really good. The Buffy one needs some work, maybe the paint job will help. So how big are these exactly?

They'll be around the 90mm mark. similar to the size of the DC and Marvel figures that Eaglemoss make. They do look very good, and as soon as I have more images or info i'll post up here for you all.
