I'm not a fan of the show or character, but this is stunning and definitly something I will use in customizing. www.scificollector.co.uk/captainjohn.htm(And, yes, I consider this figure to be buffyverse-ish enough to be in this section)

It is truley stunning, with the photos taken by the sculptor. If only the finished product comes even slightly close...

Those might get taken down Sam, but they do look awesome and I can't wait! And I don't even like Torchwood. Does that make me shallow? Hmm

I love the Gwen proto as it really looks like Eve but the Jackone always makes me shudder. Ever since Designworks resculpted him he's always looked off. Not wrong per se, but not the Big Cheese of Barrowman we know and lust.. sorry.. love.

Really? I think it looks a lot like him. Apparently he was the hardest to get approved since Barrowman had very firm ideas on how he should look, not actually a bad thing as it gave the sculptors feed back on what to change.

Those might get taken down Sam I thought that was only in the early days of a picture being shown? Plus...who polices such things around here? Not wrong per se, but not the Big Cheese of Barrowman we know and lust.. sorry.. love. I would like to see more 'cheese' in Barrowmans figures. Hopefully they'll make a smiling version one day. I did prefer the original Jack to the coated version. Not a huge fan of the new ones face. His proto was excellent...but the final figure has strange little purple lips that just aren't Jack (I stil love him...it's Jack!). I really like the look of the Torchwood figure though, but ofcourse his face won't be that nice when painted by a factory worker who has a thousand more heads to paint before lunch.
