I don't know if many other people on this forum are fans of the Jim Henson movies the Dark Crystal and the Labyrinth but they have been two of my favourite movies since childhood. I recently received my Jareth and Hoggle figures and they are really cool! This version of Jareth is even better than the original one. NECA have also recently announced that they are planning a Lord Chamberlain the Skeksis figure which for me is the best news in a VERY long time! Other Dark Crystal merchandise made by several companies I have the Sideshow dolls and the minstylkes Mystic and there are also lines of plush toys and busts but it would be fantastic if NECA decides to make more figures.

I was tempted by the Labyrinth set, but it's selling for $60.00 (AUS)!
That's way too much for me for 1.5 action figures. They're not even "exclusives". NECA's regular figures are about $30.00 which is expensive enough. I don't see Hoggle being worth another $30.00.
BUT I will grab it once it goes on sale.
Cheers.

My only requirement to start collecting this line is the inclusion of Sarah.
I ain't buying Labrynth figures without the main character!
Skesis looks beautiful! as does Hoggle & Jareth.
They seem to have shrunk Jareths 'package'...looks more like 'lady lumps' now! ;D

I love you buffysummers88! I've looked high and low and you seem to be the only person with in-hand pics of the Hoggle/Jareth set. I really want this set, but am just waiting to see if TRU starts to carry them. They have the set on their site, and slowly but surely everything online has started to appear in stores. My only real issue is that the set is $35, and seeing as TRU is charging $13 for one figure, I'd assume a 2 pack should have been $25. Oh well.
Anyway, I love Labyrinth to death and think Dark Crystal is pretty good, too. I just saw Labyrinth on the big screen (it's starting to turn into a RHPS sort of deal) last Thursday night. I really want this set more than ever and hope a Sarah gets made. I'm pretty sure NECA said no to making her, and if that's the case I guess I'll have to make a custom instead.
Does anyone know what happened to the set of Goblins NECA sculpted?

Glad i could help Kenobi! Artistic his package is definately a bit flat looking compared to the reality in the movie! Haephestus don't you love how everything in Australia is double the price it is in America. I ended up buying them on e-bay and getting them shipped here for less than $50. Still way to expensive but still cheaper than buying them in Australia and I got them faster! I am really hoping that they make Sarah, Ludo and Sir Didymus figures that would be a dream come true. Fingers crossed NECA will release a three-pack with them in it next! I'm not sure what happened to the goblins but they were in development after Hoggle was made so we might still see them. I found a link to a picture of them: bp2.blogger.com/_9d2U1aoLo7U/RcaN8BMa_4I/AAAAAAAAABY/WpHpp35etlA/s1600-h/Labyrinth+NECA+figures.jpg But I would much prefer the main characters to be made. Someone on another forum suggested that the reason they havn't made a Sarah figure could be because Jennifer Connely hasn't given permission. I hope that isn't true.

Well, today seems to be my lucky day . I'm on vacation right now and happened upon a Suncoast! And better yet, they had a Labyrinth 2-pack there. It came to $27 so I decided to just buy it now rather than wait on TRU. Sadly my Jareth had some issues (flesh paint on back, stuck arm joints, badly positioned legs), but once I get back home I'll be able to fix all that. Hoggle, however, is one of my favorite figures of all time! The sculpt is phenomenal and the articualtion is state of the art. There are 8 POA and they're all ball-jointed and hidden. NECA REALLY needs to continue with this line.
