Hahaha!! Love it! I'm new to 'dexter' but that's a cool bobble in itself. I may have to get this and put it next to my 'dead like me' grim reaper bobblehead

Damn, this is great! Dexter is one of my favorite shows and i cant wait to get a figure of him. I just hope they do it in a "realistic way".
They also should do:
-Dexter in his killing attire -Rudy/ ice Truck Killer -Harry Morgan -Sgt. Doakes -Deb Morgan -Lyla
What do you mean by that? Why wouldnt it materialize?

Wow, I love those! Most bobble heads look pretty bad to me, but these are great! I'm a huge Dexter fan so I can't wait to see the figures they make too (if they do!). I can't decide which bobble head I like better. I thought at first I liked the variant best because of the blue shirt and extra blood, but as Dexter says, "I'm a very neat monster." So the first one seems more like him with the little splatter while trying to look normal hiding the knife. I might be getting too into this! It's just a bobble head! Anyways, I love them both for different reasons! It'll be hard to choose if I decide to get one. Thanks for posting!

What do you mean by that? Why wouldnt it materialize? I just was concerned that we hadn't seen any protos or drawings even. Obviously that's kind of moot now after Kaleido katie's post! He looks cool, and I hope for a hint of more articulation. Plus as a chunky ginger fan I can't help notice that proto Dex is ..er.. gifted in a certain area. Is it me or is he tenting?

The figure looks really good.

LOL @ tenting. He does seem to have a bit of a protrusion in that area and the sculpted "folds" certainly give the impression that something is "growing".
Rita looks pretty scary, especially with her arms folded like that. Passive/aggressive with her freaky smile and folded arms. Doesn't really do Julie Benz/Darla justice methinks.
I hope we see more 7" figures. The only other one I'd probably like to see is Deborah though. None of the other characters really appeal to me enough to want toys of them.
And yes, Doakes with his "pointy finger" is hilarious.
Cheers.

I didn't even notice Dexter's pants, now I do! Hahaha. Maybe it won't be so noticeable after it's painted! I keep cracking up at Doakes. It would be pretty funny to have both Dexter and Doakes facing each other. Dexter with his knife behind his back and Doakes pointing his finger at him while shaking his head around. lol Rita looks pretty scary, especially with her arms folded like that. Passive/aggressive with her freaky smile and folded arms. Doesn't really do Julie Benz/Darla justice methinks. I agree! When I first saw the pictures I didn't even realize it was supposed to be Rita. I thought it was someone from another show, then it hit me that it must be her. Hopefully when/if they make a figure of her that it comes out better.

I'm confused. Where's Rita and why is there a bobblehead of Clea Duvall?

Which characters are in the line of scale 7 figures? How many?

I was wondering why soo many people were posting in this thread all of a sudden: Oh wow! I am SO buying Dexter action figures. Whether they have movement or not! Angel & Doakes Bobbleheads look cool. Not sure about Rita. Mmmmmmmmm....Doakes! ;D

No word on any other 7" figures as yet. I'd say they're going to test the water with the Dexter figure and see how that goes. They may end up just making variants of Dexter if they're worried how any of the other figures will sell (The Dark Defender variant anyone).
I'll just wait and see how the final figure turns out. My partner already finds it concerning that I watch and enjoy Dexter (even though I try and explain that Dexter is, in his own very unique way, a "good" guy). I'm not sure how buying the action figures would go down.
Cheers.

I'm confused. Where's Rita and why is there a bobblehead of Clea Duvall? Looks more like Chis Kattan in drag. ;D An yea, id say were prolly gonna get a couple more varients of Dexter. Id expect a "Killing Outfit" Dexter. Maybe a Doakes and Ice Truck Killer. Sucks that the articulation is crap and the scale is a bit off. Hopefully the finsihed product will be better.

Sucks that the articulation is crap and the scale is a bit off. But if they add full articulation he will lose his manly 'tent'...as people seem to be calling it! ;D As a rule I wouldn't buy 'statue' type figures...but since the Neca Potter line, I have been a little more open minded. Still, either way I will be happy....they are Dexter figures!

Ydea but still. Either I expect a figure that has great articulation but bad scale, or the articulation of a statue but perfect sculpting likeness. This figure seems to have niether. The head looks ok, but the body is a mess.
Oh, and there is a slight "bulge" there, but if that is what you consider pitching a tent, I would consider putting your boyfriend on herbal enhancment suppliments. ;D

Apparently Bif Bang Pow or whatever this company call themselves, generally do unarticulated figures.
They did the Big Lebowski figures.
