Here is a picture of my little collection. I'll post a new one if my order is ever sent. Poor Martha!! Living on that shelf all by herself! The Doctor has better things to do with Rose!

I also have Jack/the Empty Child, Prof. Yana, Screaming Angel, and the Doctor in Suit w/glasses coming from Doctor Who Merch. Does anyone know how quickly they ship out? I ordered them last Monday the 9th and I have not got a shipping confirmation and their web site still shows them as Processing... I'm getting a little impatient as I was hoping they would have shipped out last Tuesday or Wednesday and be arriving some time this week. I've used them once or twice and they usually seem to ship fast. I ordered a Doctor w/ glassses and a Doctor in coat from them on a Sunday and received it the following Friday or Saturday just in time for my Birthday! I like them a lot because of they're selection, but for future reference I usually find a better deal at Impulse Creations. I tend to make an identicle or very similar cart on both sites, and Impulse always manages to be $5-$10 cheaper. They're only downside is that they often lack the selection of DrWhoMerch (they are completely out of 9th Doctors and several versions of the 10th Doctor right now, among other things) but they do have excellent customer service. They gave me a replacement Laser Screwdriver when my first one was defective no questions asked. I've spent about $203 dollars there for over 20 figures, a Flight Control Tardis, and 3 different screwdrivers. I don't mean to sound like a spokesperson, but I just really like them and suggest them for any Who-fan in the US.

Well...I got my Drwhomerch order today. It consisted of the Screaming Angel and a Letter stating that Ct. Jack and Empty Child, Prof. Yana, and The Doctor in Suit and Glasses are not in stock and are on back order and that they will shipped at a later date. I couldn't be more disappointed! Their site is giving no indication that any of these figures are on back order and I would have liked it if they would have contacted me by email to let me know before sending me the order to see if I would like to change it, cancel it, or have them send me the one figure in stock and either refund the rest or wait for them to come back in stock. I cannot believe that out of the four figures I ordered THREE of them are out of stock! Instead of being excited to get a new figure I am horribly disappointed that I did not get the rest of them. Their site really gives the impression that they have a great stock and selection of figures, but this really made me doubt that they have even half of what they say they do.

I would be pissed off if I were you! And from what I see on the site those 4 together would get you free shipping, so did they still ship it for free or did they charge you for the one? If they did charge you then I would definitely complain. That is just outrageous!

They did ship it for free...as far as I know, that was the one good thing. The other frustrating thing is that they said they will refund my money for the other three to my Paypal account then withdraw it again when the figures come in...personally I would rather they keep the money if they anticipate the figures to come back into stock soon so that I'm not tempted to spend it somewhere else. If the figures will not be back in stock within a month or so then I would rather have the refund and the remaining order canceled so that I can use that money to purchase figures somewhere else...although I can't find those three in stock anywhere else I emailed them and asked when they anticipate to have them back in stock. I also expressed how disappointing it was to be informed by letter that 3/4ths of my order was not in stock when their site does not show any of their merchandise as being on back order and that makes me very hesitant to order from them again. I can understand a site running out of stock and realizing while trying to fill an order and then having to inform that person of the situation, but email would work well and when that much of the order was not in stock I feel like they should have contacted me to see what I want to do. Then the item should be listed as on backorder on their site so that people know that and can then choose to order it or not.

I would not be impressed with that at all Jinxie. I've been through that situation once in my life, so now I always send an e-mail to the site beforehand to make sure everything is in stock & ready to ship. I ordered a Scarecrow on eBay the other day, he should be here shortly. Not sure which one it is yet...don't really mind! Here is my collection:

Character has released official images of the 1st wave of Series 4 figures! The case assortment will include: 1x The Doctor with 5 Adipose Figures 2x Ood Sigma 2x Donna Noble 2x Natural Ood 2x Sontaran Commander Skorr 1x Sontaran Trooper 2x Pyrovile Priestess so apparently Staal will be exclusive to the Sontaraan Stratagem boxset. I'm very happy to see Ood Sigma and the Pyrovile, though I'm disappointed that there's no Miss Foster to go with those great Adipose and I HOPE they give the Doctor some more articulation!!!

I saw those over on OG but haven't been back to comment yet. It's good that people can buy the sontaran boxset or the loose figures pretty much. I know I'll not get the set and pick up extra sontarans later. The odds are nice variations, but I'll decide on purchasing when i see them. I'm slightly disappointed at the Preistess as she was quote mobile and gollum-y on the show. She's a tad static and reminds me of a TPM Amidala figure. And how many Ten-inch figures am I going to have to buy to build an adipose army???

I thought about the exact same thing with the Pyrovile Priestess looking like one of the old Amidala figures! ha ha This is a weird nitpicky thing coming form the costume designer side of me, but it's bothering me that this prototype photo has the Doctor in his brown suit and red plimsoles which he never wore together. He wore his brown suit and beige trainers, blue suit and red trainers, or black suit and black trainers.

Yawn what a boring line up. Why they are choosing to release Skorr single carded and not Straal is beyond me, and the priestess was about the last figure I wanted from that episode. Still Character love their old dears I suppose.

I agree that the line up is kind of boring...I think the wait (and the fact that we have seen 3 of these figures already) really made this unimpressive. All these figures are from the first 5 episodes so the enthusiasm I would have had for this wave if it was shown a month ago is kind of lost now. I was hoping for more because it took them so long to show us this.
I think the line up could have been much better if they had planned it out a little better. I would have liked to have seen:
PotO Box set with the Doctor in coat, Donna, and both Oods. Coatless Donna w/pony tail from FoP Coatless Doctor from FoP w/ squirt gun "Natural" Ood General Stahl w/Helmet Sontaran Skorr w/Helmet Pirovile Priestess Ms. Foster w/ Adipose.
I was sure CO wouldn't do Ms. Foster but I think they really underestimated her appeal...especially to collectors. They could have made her one per case...to start with.
But, all and all I think this is a pretty good assortment and all of the figures are really well done. I'm especially impressed that the Oods are new sculpts and they didn't just repaint the original. I also quite like the Pirovile Priestess and the cute little Adipose.

I think anything would have sold with adipose attached, and it sucks that CO decided to bung another Doctor with them just to make us buy him again. Shame on them!
I think from my POV I would have liked a UNIT soldier (not Ross or whatever, just someone), one of the Romans (probably Lucius since he was a villain), a coatless Donna (seems everyone would prefer that!) and a 'casual' Doctor (without tie) as its a variation we haven't seen yet. I hope the reason the sontaran set got taken down was because the Donna is different, but I really doubt it given the track record CO have of making us buy the same old toot ten times.

The box set did not get taken down...I mean, it did for a few days but they have the same picture of it up under the "Box Sets" tab on doctorwhotoys.net. You can even click it to get a much bigger version. I just think a PotO Box set would have been much more interesting and then Have Stahl and Skorr with removable helmets as figures, then you can buy as many as you want and put the helmets on them for your army.

Nothing too exciting. I love the Adipose & Ood figures. I had really thought (hoped) Donna would be coatless with a pony tail...alas. I hope her face turns out nicely.

I preordered them with FP, not in a hurry so went with them lol. I'm hoping the sontaran set comes first though. I'm intending to get carded Donna and the boxset in the hope of making my own coatless donna, just hope they haven't made it difficult do that.

Thanks for the pics/news.
Nothing too surprising there, although nothing terrible either. I would have hoped that both the Doctor and Donna would come with Adipose though, especially as it is unlikely that Donna will come with any accessories (if the Martha figure was anything to go by).
Also, I think the Adipose will be more popular than CO realise and short-packing the Doctor in this instance could be a mistake.
Out of these figures, if they're released down under, I'll be looking at getting Donna, the main Sontaran (with removeable helmet), the Rock Priestess and perhaps Ood Sigma (except I'll probably just grab a regular Ood once they're on sale again).
I do hope the Pyrovile "monster" is going to be deluxe figure though. I'm also hoping that since we're getting the Priestess we will also see Professor River Song released (especially as she's technically a companion, even if she is a future companion).
Cheers.

Just bought my first 2 who figures off ebay....rose and dr season 2. But for custom purpose only... I should warn you I just did a "simple head swap for a Doctor w/3-D glasses and the Space Suite Doctor...and it wasn't so simple. I didn't realize their torsos are hard plastic so it is really hard to get the soft peg from the soft plastic head and arms back into the torso. However...I can't wait to see your customs

You could try doing the Tuxedo Doctor or maybe a Doctor from Midnight ( the outfits are similar but a little different).
I really like the S4 figures.I can't wait to get the Pyrovile priestess. She is my favourite out of them.
