Evil-Lyn looks great Jinxie! It will be nice to have the cape with the 2002 inspired version when she arrives...which I believe may been pushed back a month to December (or something). Some She-Ra love.

I am so glad i got the Sub! I'm even warming up to the Star Sisters, if for nothing else to flush out my POP display. I would rather have Frosta, Glimmer, and Mermista added...but they will come in time. I love Stinkor, I think they did him perfectly! Slush Head looks great, I'm not a fan of NA but I think 4H have been nailing the figures! The white Sorceress is pretty cool, I might pick her up if I can find her for a good price. I wonder if Mattel will be at the Emerald City Comic Con. If they are I might drive up to Seattle and get her and add her to my POG line up....when I actually get some of them. LOL. The highlight for me was the Griffin!!!! He really made me happy I got the Sub. I wasn't planning on getting any of the beasts and planned on selling off my sub beasts...but he is so cool looking I will have to keep him. I'm even thinking about getting a Shadow Beast now, how awesome will Beast man look sitting on the Griffin with the Shadow Beast by his side. Not pictured is the Might Spector! I have to say, he is kind of bland but I feel bad how much crap ToyGuru is getting over this figure. Saying he doesn't fit into the MOTU universe is crazy since there are figures that represent just about every genera. I think he would look a lot cooler if he had a removable Hooded Cloak. It's not this line couldn't re-use a hooded cloak or cape. Plenty of Filmation characters had them, they could definitely use it on Masque

Oohh....Beasty, Griffin & Shadow Beast will look awesome together! I might even hunt down a second Shadow Beast one day to build up BeastMans army.
I didn't even bother going into the thread at the Org complaining about ToyGuru taking too many liberties with the line. Spector is an ok figure. I hadn't noticed I did not include a picture of him above! I'm sure I will warm up to him more as time goes on...particularly when he is on my shelf.
While the proto's neck there is a bit wonky, Tallstar should look pretty impressive in the display with her added height.
It's really nice that we are getting a stand for the Orb thing. I like the white outfit on Sorceress, it will look different on the shelf.

Thanks Haeph! I scored Teela for $18, Man at Arms for $10, and The Goddess for $10 during the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale on Matty! Of course I had to pay separate shipping on each of them but even with they are were all well below what I would have paid on eBay! Swift Wind:

Hmmmmmm. More and more I regret not getting Swifty, especially after seeing Battle-Cat for only $15.00 as part of Mattel's sale.
Oh well. I grabbed Bikini Teela (aka Sharella a female protector of the Sword of He in my personal canon), Vikor and Zodak. I would have happily grabbed at least Tri-Klops and Stratos as well, but I completely missed Stratos and I couldn't justify paying separate shipping for Tri-Klops alone.
The sale was ... interesting, but I really wish they'd offered to ship ALL orders placed over the three days together to help customers save on shipping, particularly those of us overseas.

@ Jinxieman
Very cool. Is there a story behind the customised Queen Marlena (sleeveless) and the male warrior in purple and silver armour? Is the male warrior somehow related to the Royal Family since he's hanging out with the House of Randor?
Filmation Evil-Lyn looks good!

Marlena is sleeveless because I used a spar She-Ra buck so that I could display both her as queen and astronaut. I had the buck on the astronaut for a while as my "battleground' variant, but switched them up to have her as full astronaut with Photog. Photog's bio is the only one I outright reject, he is Bitner from her crew and in the crash was fused with the project Photog equipment. As for the purple guy. He is my custom secret opps Spector. I made him as an in-between step from Lt. Spector to the Mighty Spector. I imagine he now works on an elite squad for the King taking care of some of the more unpleasant tasks required around the kingdom...or anywhere on Eternia. Morally questionable things that would bring bad PR to He-Man and the Masters. I can post better pictures of him tonight.

Cool and groovy. It must be an Earthling trait to have bare arms!
It's interesting to find a fan who is so invested in the "Spector" character to create a custom figure. I have to admit that since he appears to basically be a stand-in for Toyguru in the MOTUC universe, I'm not overly fond of him. But, that doesn't take away from how good the custom is at all.

I'm not so sure bare arms is strictly an Earth thing...I think there are a lot of Eternian's with no sleeves. ;-) And I wouldn't say I'm invested in the Spector Character. The custom started as a normal Guard figure. I got the head and armor from someone on He-Man.org and was looking into a guard buck but put them on my Mo-Lar buck and started thinking...since I had the "Toyguru" head and all the armor, what could I do with a normal flesh toned buck. I also really like purple so it all kind of came together. I also have no issue with the Mighty Spector as a character and the way I see it, as a childhood fan of MOTU myself, I think it's kind of cool that Scott is in a position in his life to be able to have one of his childhood characters realized in the line and become part of the history of MOTU. The design isn't jaw dropping, awesome or anything, but I think its a cool concept and I'm happy for Scott. I would love to be in his position. That all being said, I'm not dying for the Might Spector to come out, but I will get him when he does. Anyway, here is a close up of my custom. You can see on his helmet and face mask I put the red marks and I included the Spade on his shoulder armor. This is him before he had the ability to time travel, but I think he is just starting to be able to harness the energy that will eventually give him the weapon he comes with. That is what the green on his arm cuffs represent and the green on the sword.

Artistix, your MOTU collection is out of Control!!! I LOVE it! I love how you have it set up with evil warriors facing off against the heroic warriors. Brings me back to when I was 8 and I would set my collection on the dining room table with good on one side and bad on the other in a face off! Those were the days...but the figures are far more impressive now! Awesome stuff there!
