Teela has been confirmed as the first female figure for the line. BUT the month/year of release has NOT been confirmed.
Mattel did announce that the first "eight" released would not be the original "Eight-Back", so it may be a while before we see Teela (since she was on the original Eight-Back).
As Evil-Lynn is essentially a repaint of Teela with a few new parts, I'm sure she'll be released eventually.
Cheers.

Everyone wants to see the female body! Surely we'll see Teela at Toy Fair.

I think it depends on when Teela is due to be released.
Initially Mattel announced that each figure would only be revealed one month in advance. The delays with He-Man and Beast-Man have meant that we now know the line up pretty far in advance (Skeletor, Stratos, Faker, Mer-Man) with the previously revealed Zodac yet to be formally assigned to a month/release date.
I'm hopeful that Teela is shown/announced sooner rather than later, but I guess it depends on whether Mattel decides to stick to the original plan or not.
Cheers.

The sooner they release Teela, the better the odds of a Green Goddess figure. I'll bet we'll see some great stuff at Toy Fair. At least, I hope we do.

According to one of the latest Mattel Q&As, we should see the May and June figures at NYCC.
However, Zodac could be one of those figures as he hasn't been allocated a month yet. At the very least we'll see one "new" figure.
And POP and NA confirmed for 2010 although the characters are unknown. The wording suggests She-Ra will be one of the POP figures (and that seems like an obvious choice), but nothing has been confirmed.
Cheers.

Looking forward to She-Ra.
Though I know nothing of the NA series. I saw the He-man for the line & he was pretty aweful looking.

Re: Teela
On the subject of Teela, how does everyone think the female figures will be crafted in terms of articulation? One of Mattel's Q&A confirmed that the female figures would be articulated in the same manner as He-Man (and the other male MOTUC figures), but ALL those figures (from memory) have "skirts" to hide the ball-jointed hips.
IF the 4H stick to the "classic" figure design (like they have for all the figures so far), then Teela, Evil-Lynn and the Sorceress don't have "skirts" to hide their ball-jointed hips (which can detract from a good sculpt).
Will the 4H add a "skirt" to the design of those characters (similar to the 200X figures/designs) or will they go with a hip-joint similar to their DCUC Wonder Woman (which will also require adding a thigh joint swivel to take full advantage of the articulation)?
Personally, I'd like to see them add skirts to the figures and keep the ball-jointed hips. BUT I'm not sure whether the 4H are willing to depart from the design of the original figures to do this.
And also on the topic of Teela, how "big" does everyone want the figure to be? The original figures of Teela and Evil-Lynn had some pretty impressive "thunder thighs". Will the new sculpt include these original design aspects (the male figures closely resemble the proportions of the "classic" figures) or will the female figures look more like the female DCUC figures?
Personally, I'd like to see a curvier sculpt for the female MOTUC figures which is closer to their original designs. Even the 4H's Wonder Woman figure in the DCUC could use some additional muscle (although she's the most muscular/bulky of all the woman so far - the others look like twigs in comparison).
I'd like to see some proprtions similar to the JLA Classified Wonder Woman figure (http://experiencethewonder.com/action_figures/JLA_Classified.php) or Alex Ross Wonder Woman action figure (http://experiencethewonder.com/action_figures/Justice_Box_Set.php) although I'd prefer a more realistic "waist/middle" for Teela and her fellow females as that area on the WW figures is a tad ridiculous.
At the absolute minimum I'd like to see something like the Series 3 JLA Wonder Woman (http://experiencethewonder.com/action_figures/Justice_League_of_America_Series_3.php) although again, with a thicker waist. But I would prefer this slimmer/more feminine sculpt be used for characters like She-Ra which had their own slimmer sculpt in the original toys (although I don't want She-Ra to look quite so much like an over-inflated Barbie like the original toy).
What are everyone else's thoughts?
Cheers.

Good point, I guess we need to wait until they release sheera, I agree about thunder thighs, and if I remember well Evil Lyn is yellow skin tone in the old cartoon. Here's some pics classic teela and Teela Evil Lyn two versions Classic Evil Lyn img171.imageshack.us/img171/5112/evillynns3.jpgAfter the pics I believe the classic ones weren't so bad they just need a better scale, a much better proportion, hope the new ones improve that.

Ordered my Skeletor last night. The order is still processing, but I'm sure they were inundated with orders yesterday, so it'll take a day or two to straighten out.

Received my Skeletor on Thursday. Its awesomeness could barely be contained by its packaging.
This is shaping up to be a legendary toyline. A shame it's only online.

I only just bought He-man & Beastman the other day on eBay Oz. They haven't shown up just yet. Hmmmm. I'm really not sure what they are going to do. But it would be much in the style of He-man. Will be interesting to see if they include the ab-crunch. Hopefully we see Teela at Toy Fair.

Hey team, Matty let people know through Facebook that Skeletor is almost sold out, and that now would be a good time to buy one.

LOVING Hordak, MAA and Teela (or is that Green Goddess since she has the cap/helmet instead of hair).
Cannot wait to own them all.
Cheers.
