Andrew creates a documentary called Buffy, Slayer of the Vampyres, a record of the current situation in Sunnydale to show to future generations. He manages to capture many important moments, and to annoy almost everyone in the house. But Buffy needs to tear him away from his filmmaking because the Seal of Danzalthar is active and Andrew may hold the key to closing it before it destroys the town. Writer: Jane Espenson

bloody love this episode!
jane at her best! jane has always been one of my favourite writers and apart frm her 'first date' slip up (terrible episode in my opinion) i love all her other episodes!
andrew isnt a huge favourite of mine but i dont dislike him but this episode i found really hilarious.
the one-liners are just classic. 'andrew! why cant u just masterbate in here like the rest of us?!'
or when he completely ignores the lesbian kissing on the sofa and admires xanders handy craft work.
too funny.
and for all its jokes and humourous lines it has a serious message involving andrew and his constant living on the outside and never standing up for his beliefs and taking life seriously. love it.
10/10

No matter how many times I've watched this episode before - it always amuses me! Great way to break the seriously for a bit with such a light and entertaining episode, especially with Andrew's character. I especially love the introduction bits, and references for previous seasons. IMO, 8.5/10

I really fell in love with Andrew as a character in this episode and I agree that Jane Espenson is a brilliant writer. I always got excited when I saw she wrote the episode because I knew it was going to funny and strange all at the same time.
This is also the only other episode in which the Cheese Man appears. I'm still looking for the reason why he exists. Lately, I have just been assuming he's like a Wonderland figure and just isn't meant to be explained or understood.
Anyone have any other thoughts on the Cheese Man?

I concurr with his Wonderland-vibe.
He's the brain child of Mr. Whedon and I do not question it, I just embrace it lol

I love this episode its soo funny. Andrew and his little versions of how things are. Then that "We Are As Gods" bit kills me everytime XD. Then the story about Mexico, "Everyone's looking at me weird". Oh he is just so funny I liked Andrew much better after that episode not just because he was funny but he also got some emotional depth.
