Hello!

Right first off cheers to BA1 for doing this and letting me have a go.

And me...Im 18, 19 on 15th March. Currently studying film ion Canterbury, Kent university and bloody loving it. Living on campus in dorm and have been having a great time.
Want to be in the tv/film business eventually and im really interested in creative writing/screenwriting etc which is a course i will be taking next year.
MEGA film fan and im into a lot of horror/ occassional dabble in video games and used to be an obssessed customizer until i start uni.

:So you love movies.. wich one is your favorite?

I would say requiem for a dream. I seem to have developed a random love for drug films with out even realizing it. When ever i list my favourite films each one seems to be about drug abuse and the side effects of it and this film is definately one of the best. Plus i LOVE jennifer connelly and Jared leto is surprisingly good in it. Very depressing by the end though...but i like a bit of depression in my films.

Q:Whats your all-time-favorite horror scene?

oh gosh...hmmmm...one of my favourite horrorish scenes would have to be buffy welcome to the hellmouth when the master rises out of the pool of blood. I watched it when it was first aired so i was really young and it was one of the first times id seen something like that and was full on disgusted by it!lol. Watching it now its kinda lame. From a horror film I would say Texas chainsaw massacre the original when leatherface appears in the torch light in the woods for the first time. crap that was scary and the start of one of my favourite film legacies.

Buffy/angel/lost/veronica mars

Q:Do you watch Talk Shows?

Only if an actor from one of my shows is on. I usually go on youtube when im bored and just type in like kristin bell on jimmey kimmel and see what comes up.lol. I really enjoy watching the lost actor interviews as you get an insight into what they think is going on on the island and each actor is just as confused as the rest of us.

Q:Do you own any movie props/ fan stuff?

I have a major collection of figures...which are now dismembered and lying in parts in numerous draws due to my sadistic customizer side of things. I also have some lost figures but now we wont be getting anymore ill be selling those off. Oh i do have a life size smg cutout my friends got me for my 18th birthday. That was a good surprise!

Q:If so, whats your favorite thing?

lol..my favourite thing? movies and nights out with my friends.

What's your favorite part of BtVSFigs?

Customs!! And i gotta say the standard of the past few weeks on the custom board has been raised MASSIVELY. makes me nervous for when i get back into doing them over my easter break!lol!

What's your least favorite part of BtVSFigs?

the hotseat obviously... lol. Nah it would probably be the magicbox section, although helpful it is, never really go on it.

What are some things you'd like to see improve on the forum?

hmmm i dunno. Nothing comes straight to mind, I guess just the general layout. Im not keen on the banner of the fuzzy buffy spike and angel pf...kinda boring I think tbh. The rest is fine to me.

What are some new things you'd like to see that the forum hasn't had yet?

again im not so sure. Nothing currently springs to mind.

Some personal:

Who's your favorite incarnation of Lara Croft (i.e. Voice actress, official model and/or AJ)?

Unoriginal I know but id have to go for angie.j. I just think shes great in the role and a great actress. I do like the prime and proper voice overs in the games. Im liking the new voice, im pretty sure its the actress from the first few series of the british spy series Spooks.

What "Classic" feature would you like to see in the next TR game (TRU)?

ooo gosh...ermm the feeling of isolation. Legend was too over the top and hollywoodish. I loved the return to just you a tomb and some bastard raptors in the remake.lol. Really makes you feel nervous when all you can hear is the whistling of the wind through the caverns as you jump around scaling the tombs etc.

Which TR level (in either game) gave you the hardest time?

every level in tomb raider3! haha. Man that game was a bitch! I completed all tomb raider apart from that one and tomb raider the last revelation.

Being such a talented customizer, which kit-bash figure would you make if you were working at DST?

the wish buffy hands down. She needs to be made.

I do love my dane and rave music, pendulum drum and bass and dj hype I like. Generaly anything will do though. I have a range from pendulum to linkin park to enya.lol.

3. How many iTunes songs do you currently have?I dont have itunes but i use the sony sonicstage and theres 1782 songs in there but the majority of my music collection is all on my laptop which i dont have on me at the mo'.

god knows.lol. But iv been addicted to taio cruz 'like a star' at the moment.

5. Favorite Actor & Actress?

Im in love with kate winslet. She can hold her own and is beautiful in a non superficial fake way. Johnny depp is awesome as well my flat mate is obssessed with him and has all his films so iv seen him in a massive range of films. I hate people who say hes their favourite actor just because of potc...he has done other better things you know!lol.

) Your course at uni sounds really interesting...what did you need to get into the course and what does the course consist of?

I needed to get an ABB in a levels. The course consists of an 'exploring the frame' module where we learnt the making of films and made our own collection of short films. That was a term long so now i dont do it as i finsihed it autumn term. I also studied American cinema with that. Now thats also over and im doing World cinema and the other module I got to choose and i took science fiction...so basically at the moment im studying world cinema and science fiction films. next year i get to choose form a huge array of modules which will be far more productive. Cant wait.

2) Any plans for your birthday?

I share it with my friend kim so we will be going out for meal and then either hitting town or going to the student union as pyjama party...gotta love raving in your pjs.

3) Do you use bebo/ myspace?

I have a myspace but its rubbish. Facebook is the way to go. Myspace and bebo pale massively in comparison..but i think facebook is more of a uni/work thing and myspace is more the high school thing cos i was obssessed with it in 6th form now cant stand it.

4) Best and Worst remake...and why ?

gosh i dunno...off the top of my head...king kong and texas chainsaw remakes were both awesome! Oh and i really like kills have eyes remake although the sequel didnt leave up to the remake. Worst...the unneed remake of psycho was pretty terrible....vince vaughn was bloody terrible as norman bates.

5)Are you going on holiday anywhere this summer?

nope. I did the big group of friends going to malia thing last year. And now Im saving for a round europe trip in 2009 instead. Going to Australia with family this year though. Making stops off in hong kong anf singapore on the way there and back so i cant bloody WAIT!

6) Do you still watch Buffy as much as you did when it still aired? If not, why not?

I actually started a big rewatch session after getting back into the buffyverse via the comics. Just finsihed season 1.

7) Pretty early on....but do you have much plans for the weekend haha.

I tend to go out more in the week. going out this wednesday to place called vodka revolutions which is great. Saturdy going out in canterbury for friends 19th dressed as nu ravers. Glow sticks and flurescent clothing...safe blud.lol.

1) What is the scariest thing you have ever experienced in real life?

Crikey i dunno...got stuck in the hurricane/tornado last summer while i was in dominican republic. That was kinda freaky.

2) What is the most beautiful thing you have ever seen?

ermmmm...niagara falls was pretty spectacular. And the jungle treks i did in domican republic were awesome. Generally Im a bit of a nature freak. Im into my walks through woods and forests etc.lol. Gone treking and doing activites up the welsh mountain snowdonia and some of the scenery right up there was beautiful. Lord of the rings style.lol. haha

3) who is the was the most meaningful person you've met?

My mummy. lol. And my best friend Katie who i met when she did an exchange year from detroit over to here in Wales. Still keep in touch and go visit each other etc.

4) Jennifer Connelly is incredibly beautiful, wouldn't you agree?

YESSSS!! lol. When i was asked fav actress I always say kate winslet and jennifer connelly but i thought id jus mention one this time as i was only asked for one but totally! Shes freaking gorgeus. Have you seen 'little children'? Got both of them in so i was in movie actress heaven!

I adore bloc party ever since they released their first song. I also really like regina spektor/imogen heap and that type of female piano/pop/indie-ish music.

Kate winslet. Shes awesome.

Joss Whedon...boring yeh i know but i wanna be a screen writer and who could i possibly wanan model myself after other than one of the best writers of our generation... ;D

gosh i dunno...theres too many...the one iv just discovered randomly on a music channel which i listen to all the time now is 'david jordan' - sun goes down.

5. What is your favorite cartoon?

Teen titans is ace! I love starfire and raven!

6. Do you read comic books? If so what is your fave?

buffy/teen titans/batman/nightwing. Thats it really. Buffy is definately my favourite. I dont read teen titans or batman anymore but im obviously still buying the buffys for season 8 so i would say buffy is my favourite.

7. Do you like X-Men? If so who is your favorite mutant?

Im not a huge fan of x-men my knowledge only goes as far as the movies but i decided once i got some money im gonna buy some of joss whedons xmen graphic novels. I hear they are more wordy and not so much actiony so id prefer to buy the graphic novels rather than hunt the single issues down as i reckon less action and more plot and story could get rather tiresome in a small comic but in a bigger graphic novel itd come across as better...if that makes any sense. Need to get me some runaways books as well.

8. What is your favorite scary movie?

Texas chainsaw massacre. Also one of my fav fims of all time.

9. Who is your favorite superhero?

Buffy and comicbook wise Batman.

10. Out of all the Buffy figures made which one is your favorite?

Im really proud of my Fred's...the 'billy' fred looks like a simple figure but i really liked the overall out come of her.

I'm going to magaluf in June with a big group of friends and all agreed that in october...we would either go to Malia or Ibiza! Whats it like? Worth the trip?

Malia is freakin' A! I Loved it. Very hardcore 10 days. We were staying basically directly on the main strip so were about 10 second walk from all the clubs. If you do go i recommend the club Zig Zag. Its amazing in there.

Yeh I probably would if a friend wanted to but i wouldnt personally go out of my way to set up a trip to one. If a friend organised it and i could ust hand over money for the ticket I would.lol.

Are you a disney fan?

MASSIVE! Aladdin all the way!! Mulan is great as well...ooo and hunchback of notre dame. I feel that doesnt get thew appreciation it derserves.lol.

If so- which is your favourite film and why?

Aladdin...I dunno why it just rocks. When I was about 5/6 I had a full on aladdin official disney costume with purple wasit coat and big baggy arabic trousers and I would wear it everywhere! According to my mum if she had to take me into town id wear a t shirt with the waist coat over it and these big baggy trousers with the yellow patch on them...bless...lol.

What is it about TCM that is so amazing (if you can try to pin-point )?

I think its the raw terror of this ogre man with a bloody chainsaw. The chainsaw is such a brutal and horrific weapon it just oozes power and fear I think. The chainsaw is very much a character in the films just as much as leatherface.

What do you drink usualy on a night out?

Im a big fan of snakebite...lager/cider/blackcurrent. And I lovbe my jack daniels. And I usually shot some goldschlager. That stuff is nice plus the gold specks are puurrty

Do you concider yourself fit?

Not particularly. I used to be massively anti confident about myself to a huge degree but after uni my confidence has built up some with compliments form ppl etc. When people say fit i think of say brad pitt or someone with typical handsomeish looks and a fit ( as in in shape) body. I wouldn't say im that although im not over weight, I just dont see myself as the usually guy with short hair and toned body. More the longer curlyish hair and skinnyish body...so i guess overall no not so muc fit but not ugly either. whoa did not enjoy that question,

Do you eat healthy/ exercise?

neither. I do not eat healthy but i dont go out of my way to eat fast food all the time or anything but i dont go out of my way to eat healthy either. I used to exercise, like i said im a big fan of the woods and nature so i used to always go jogging through these woods near my house which if you get deep enough are like full on jungle style its amazing. But now with uni etc not so much. The only exercise i get is dancing.

I wont say one name but a lot of members have been really friendly here. Lior knight is awesome, he always puts up with my moaning and demands for new banners. ;D
Willowswarlock is really cool. Talk to him all the time on msn and we have a good talks hes really nice all round cool guy. Plus i get to see pictures of in prog pics of customs before posted...i feel so special. haha. Oh and recently spoke to thornofgachnar who was helpful with roswell advice.

j'adore maria!! Shes so pretty and really really funny. Plus she can sing!

Isobel. Again shes beautiful and shes really understanding of people. I hate the way michael is so fixated on alien stuff all the time (well earlier on in the show) and the way max was all swoony over liz (HELLO your 16! get over it). Isobel was much more down to earth and seem the most human out of them.

Did you like Rob Zombies Halloween?

I didnt see it! I know im ashamed. I was in uni at the time and it never came to the uni cinema...im waiting for the region 2 release. I love the original and its one of those old classic horror films that actually scared me.

What time do you usually go to sleep?

Iv been home this past week and its forced me back into a good routine of going to bed around 12 and getting up at around 9ish. Before this week though i was TERRIBLE. Id literally stay up all night and go to bed around 7amish and waking up at about 6pmish. I dunno what happened to my body clock but i was completely bollocks up.

LOVE IT. If i was rich id just get chinese take out everyday, although id probably end up getting sick of it by then so maybe not. Crispy beef is like a party in my mouth.
