That base of wanda is just great, i agree he's once more with feeling spike, since the spike of season 2 is wearing boots. Now i like to someone make a experiment with these deluxe figures, i really like to see a head of wesley in spike body and things like that. I just don't get it one thing, if spike is shorter than Angel and these figures aren't share the legs, why they just didn't do the legs of spike shorter.

Finally got these down under.
I picked up regular Detsiny Spike and Angel. I'll probably grab a School Hard Spike if he ever goes on sale, but the rest of the figures, including the "battle damaged" Destiny variants and the Hawaiian two pack I easily passed on.
I really like these two figures. Of the two, I find the Angel likeness to be better. The Spike head sculpt just seems a little "thin" in the face to really be Spike, but the likeness is still excellent.
I really like the fact they both have individual bodies and both are really well sculpted. Not sure about the scale as they seem a little out of whack, but they're good enough for me.
Main issue is the spare arms for each figure. Spike's short sleeved arms are not consistent with the t-shirt he wore, they're glossy instead of matte like the shirt and they just generally look poor. They should have just painted sleevs onto the bare arms that come with 50's Angel as Spike's sleeves were always extremely fitted.
Angel's arms, especially his right arm just fall out of the socket. Its a shame as he looks pretty decent with just the shirt arms. They're a little better if you spread his arms out like he is doing the chicken dance, but still not stable by any means.
Really happy with both of these. They're miles ahead of the Buffy/Faith deluxe figures.
Cheers, Haeph.

Today, I recieved deluxe battle damaged Destiny Spike, deluxe battle damaged Destiny Angel, deluxe School Hard Spike, deluxe 50' Angel, deluxe two-pack Angel & Spike hawaiaan shirts. I really like them, especially the Angel figures, they all have different head sculpts, and the likeness of David Boreanaz is great. The accessories are really cool. The deluxe bodies work very well with the boys, a lot better than the previous deluxe girls. Great job DST !

My 4 year old nephew was playing with my deluxe Spikes the other day and he discovered something that I had overlooked. The red shirt that comes with SH Spike does indeed fit under the long black overcoat without cutting it. I don't know why I never tried it before. I had read that it did not fit and that it had to be altered to fit, so I never tried it. I look over and see the kid playing with a Spike in overcoat with red undershirt and I was like, what do you know, go figure. I now have him displayed like that with my deluxe OMWF Buffy and think they look great together.

I just got 50's Angel and I love the amazing likeness it has to David Boreanaz.

I have to say these must be the best thing DST have done. They're awesome The feeling's mutual. Those figures are the reason I hope DST continues the Deluxe line and makes all the characters eventually in the Deluxe format. I'm also hoping that DST invests in a better female base sculpt, one that hides some of the articulation a little better than the Buffys and Faiths. I'm not complaining too loudly about that, though...

I hope that this line thrives and theres at least one Angel character up for release next year. The character selection in wave III is certainly promising.

Can someone answer a question for me? Is 50's Angel's torso and arms the same as Hawaiin Spike's torso and arms?
-Thanks

Can someone answer a question for me? Is 50's Angel's torso and arms the same as Hawaiin Spike's torso and arms? -Thanks They're the same, except Angel's right hand can hold accessories. Spike's open right hand can hold a pizza box, delivery-guy-style, or his flask I would have loved to see DST make swappable hands for all the Deluxes, like some of the Gundam action figures have. Then we could have open hands, regular hands, and fists...
