I just got Battle-damaged Destiny Angel & Spike from BBTS. They have more new pieces than I thought. They each have their own pants, legs, and feet, and coat arms. Even their pipe pieces are different, one is shorter with a swirly pattern, the other is longer. Spike has sculped jeans while Angel has pleated pants. There is an added torso swivel and waist articulation. Spike can do sit-ups. Also a plus, no exposed peg holes. Overall, I thnk DST stepped it up a bit with this 2nd series and I hope they keep it up. They also stand better/easier than the 1st series and the packages hang straight on the wall. I am most pleased with this 2nd line. There is definate improvement over series one.

Got the rest of my Deluxe figures yesterday from AFX. I have one of each on the wall and Bloody Angel & Spike to open. My nephew is loving playing with these things. I can hardly get them away from him. The way they did the hands and heads is a little different than last time. The hands are almost just like the regular figures and the heads are made the same as the regulars. If DST could find a nice balance between the Deluxes and the regulars, like this series and the new Willows, I think the line will be fine all deluxe. Hawaiian Angel also has a new sculpted torso piece while Spike has a rubber shirt on over his, but I don't know if Spikes torso is the same as Destiny's. I can easily see them making several new guys with these bodies: Gunn, Riley, Xander, Conner, or Doyle could all be done with these bodies. I can't wait for the new characters that have never been done :RILEY, GUNN, CONNER, HARMONY, DOYLE, etc...

Don't mean to sound like a broken record here, but could any of you lucky guys who already has these please post lots and lots of pictures? Particularly the human Angel sculpts...
It will probably be months before these figs hit my part of the world, so it would be nice to look at some pics to tie me over...

Hmm, I picked up "School Hard" Spike. It's a good figure, but geez, I'm pissed off with it. The right arm is absolutely fine, but the shoulder joint on the left arm was so dang tight that it snapped when I tried to remove it. It hasn't fully snapped, so you wouldn't notice when looking at the thing, but move it and it's coming off for good.

I got my Hawaiian two pack the other day which completed my wants for this line. I'm a lot happier with the two pack than expected. Spike's shirt didn't seems as big as seen in previous pictures but then again, I'm keeping him in the package. The detail on the Hawaiian shirts are great. I'm really glad I talked myself into purchasing it.

I used to not want these figures. Then I saw them in the flesh today. Wow, I actually think they are some of the best figures Diamond have ever done. I will definitely be going back to the shop to get School Hard Spike and maybe one of the Angels.

I have a question about the scale, how tall is the deluxe angel next to Angel season five and next to Balthazar from Charmed. And Is Spike taller than Angel or it's the pose? If someone can post pics that will be even better, thanks.

I picked up this entire series at Wizard World Chicago and finally got around to posting pictures. For now I just have a basic gallery of the series, but I'll be posting detail shots soon (including posed shots -- right now I've got battle damaged Spike drinking from the cup while battle damaged Angel lies beside him, defeated) Angel/Spike Deluxe Wave

I have a bunch of figures on the way to me.
I got great deals at bigbadtoystore due to errors on their part with pricing (which have now been corrected) I got the Hawaiian 2 pack for $15 and got both variants for $15 each (25% off).
I have School Hard Spike coming from the BCC with free shipping. I will probably order 50s Angel before the sale ends.
I'm not too concerned about the regular figures...I will get them but I'm hoping to get a good deal on them sometime down the road...maybe free through the BCC at some point?
I cant wait to get them...

My Destiny quartet arrived today from TST (battle-damaged and regular) versions. I feel the Spike's are spot on but Angel seems kind of weird face wise. Nice to see the Mountain Dew chalice. I'm looking forward to getting School Hard Spike and the two-pack soon.

I got my second School Hard Spike today from BCC. The first thing I did was open him up and put Destiny Spikes long coat on him. I now have the Spike figure that I have always wanted. He looks great standing amongst the regular Team Angel figures. Looks like he is the same height as Fred, so as I add new figures, Fred is looking more and more normal to me. I think the bloody vamp Spike looks great in the red shirt also. The one odd thing that I am just now noticing about the Destiny vampires is that neither Angel nor Spike have eyebrows. Are their eyebrows suppose to dissappear when they vamp out or is it just an error?

I don't think that vampires have eyebrows when they are vamped out...but I'm not positive.

You're right Jinxieman, they don't have eyebrows when they are vamped out, just bumpy foreheads.

I got most of the deluxe figures. I LOVE them. Definitely my favorite male figures in the whole line. And they really make me re-evaluate my feelings on the regular line vs. Deluxe line. If the females looked this good (and series 3 is definitely a step in the right direction), I wouldnt have a problem with all the future lines being deluxe.
I'll get 50s Angel tomorrow and then I will have them all.

I got School Hard Spike and the Spike/Angel 2 pack today. SH Spike has to be the best sculpt and likeness I have seen, it really is a top figure.
Similarly, Spike in the 2 pack is good though not as good, but Angel... Urgh! How can one figure be sculpted so well and the other not? Angel IMO seems to be a real weakness for DST.

I got the SH Spike figure the other day. I think that this is the best Spike likeness that has been made to date! The only thing that I didn't care for was the red shirt. I think that DST should have made the figure with the red shirt layered under his trademark jacket (Like in the episode). After looking at the figure for a few days I decided to experiment. I was able to combine the red shirt with the jacket (it was very simple when you think about it) I absolutely Love the end result. Now that I have fixed his jacket ensemble the SH Hard Spike is my favorite of the Spike figures. Here are a few photos...tell me what you think Now all Vamped out To make the adjustment... just cut the red shirt around the bottom of the shirt collar and straight down the sides. Then just fit the shirt piece under the Destiny Spike jacket. Since you cut away most of the red shirt, it doesn't hinder the deluxe jacket.
