Deluxe Angel & Spike Arriving July 19th

I just downloaded our invoice for this week and the Deluxe Angel and Spike figures were on the list.

These figures are due to arrive at our store on Wednesday, July 19th.

(Though not Buffy related, the Stargate Series I figures will be arriving this week as well.)

so its the whole series? wat abt the bloody variants and the red shirt angel and spike?

I think that the bloody variants are a part of the main asst., they are just chase figures to be included in the case of "Destiny" Deluxe Figures. However, are the variants of "School Hard" Spike and "Are You Now or Have You Ever Been" Angel, I don't think are actually part of the main asst.. I just hope that the BCC gets "School Hard" Spike not that long after they come out as I have been waiting to preorder him from them.

I really can't wait to get these, they will be a nice addition to my ever growing collection.

Yes! My Stargate figs are coming! I've only ordered the Chase bloody varients and one 50's Angel, so far. I guess I better get cracking. Hopefully BCC will offer another free shipping deal when they are in stock before they head off on their summer road tour. I sure hope they leave somebody working so we can get our orders shipped out in a timely fashion. Looks like this week I will be getting Star Trek series 2, Stargate SG-1 series 1, Primeval Buffy, and 3 of the deluxe figures. What a week!

Wow!!! I am totally loving this prevalence of figures the past few months!!! I kind of wish it was always like this (well, my wallet/card doesn't like it so much, but hey, whatever makes life happy, right?). :-) I didn't realize how that ultra-mega-massive drought while waiting for the Buffy/Dawn wave really sapped the collecting bug! But this is like renewing our collecting energies! :-)

I also really like how things are a little "mixed up" in the sense that we got GLory/Dawn first, then Buffys/Dawns, then Family Set, now Primeval Buffy/Deluxe Angels & Spikes, and hopefully soon the Red Dress Glory/Xander/Cordy batches!!! It really makes collecting interesting (though I know it's a harder/more expensive way to manufacture them as a mix of figures than the standard groups). But then again, at least in Glory's case, where she's sharing the body with Wish Cordy, maybe this explains that particular mix (assuming they both come then of course). Either way, I am happy just to be getting new figures, but it is more fun to me to get 3-4 different characters in the same month (probably just a throwback to my Star Wars collecting days!).

I have to say that I think with the Glory/Dawn Gift set starting this whole phase, that I have to officially declare this the "Golden Age" of Buffy and Angel Figure Collecting! :-)

The *only* way this Age of Goldeny Goodness could be any better is if we had a new Willow or two (i.e. at least one long haired variant!) to go in with the mix - then we'd have a complete Scooby Gang all shipping at the same time!!! I wonder if DST could produce a Willow variant the way they do the Holiday/Dingoes WIllows (i.e. I wonder if those are existing stock that gets painted or if they are put thru the whole process (though in their cases maybe they forego approval since those particular ones were give aways?)...it'd be great to have a Willow based on the Transformation Willow long hair but with the face modifications that made Together4Ever Willow so amazing in the likeness department, in a new outfit and maybe some new accessories...

Wow, can you imagine? I bet the Willow would still be the hottest seller based on uniqueness (and unexpectedness) alone! :-)
Anyway, I'm giddy with excitement...I wonder why collecting these 6" plastic people sets off the endorphins so much? :-) :-)

Also interested to check out the Stargate figures. Not fussed on the scale, but with the announcement of the two characters from Farscape being included in series 3, I'm tempted.

I dont see these on the Diamond Shipping Lists...I hope they are still shipping to all the comic shops...I'd hate to make the trip out there and not get them.

Idk guys, so far none of the comic stores around me have got them in, and arent even sure when theyre supposed to. This blows hardcore.

I know for a fact that they do not ship to ALL comics shops, only the ones who have ordered them. If your comic shop doesn't get them, you may have to ask them to order them from Previews. I would at least call them before wasting my gas driving somewhere, only to be disappointed. Good luck finding them.

I just came back from my comic shop and they don't have them. The clerk checked the computer and told me they'd be coming in September.

I called a comic store around 40 minutes from here, and he explained what happened. He said they were suppoed to get them today, but there was a big storm last night and UPS's computers were down and didnt send out shipments. He said that theyd get them later today or hopefully tomorrow. He said it was probably the same situation as the other comic stores in the surrounding areas here in Jersey. So hopefully by this time tomorrow Ill have them.

Not neccessarily, Dave. You may get them sooner. A few retailers that I deal with have had them listed as coming out in September since they became available. It is just an estimated date.Since they are actually being released today, July 19, they should be showing up any day now. I would try calling back next week just to check or ask your retailer to call you when they come in, if they do that.

I called the only two comic stores within 50 miles of me and niether of them got them! They didn't even seem to know what I was talking about which is odd as they usually are great about getting the Buffy and Angel figures as soon as they are released...so I wonder what ze deal is yah?

I Really hope that the BCC can ship these soon. I can't believe that they charged me and gave me the notice that they were Arriving Now In Stock and haven't shipped them yet. They have never done this in the past to me before. Maybe it's because of how busy they are right now and they said that they were going to have"School Hard" Spike figures available through thier store. Maybe they are just waiting until after the show.

Ugh...I hope this mix-up doesnt cost me a shot at the chases.

Diamond didnt have them as shipping this week...so hopefully next week and I will be there to pick them up.
