I am hoping that bases will be the surprise they are speaking of. I am dying for an EOD Angel. I would put my money on EOD Angel. Maybe if he comes with a base, he could share it with Buffy! The name of the episode escapes me but I bet they will make Angel and Spike from the episode where they fought each other over the Mountain Dew Chalice. It sounds like they will use the DLX line to fill in the gaps of the new Angel/Fred and the Spike/Darla wave, giving us the variants we didn't get in those waves. I am so excited that the DLX line will be staying separate from the original 6 inch line. This way we can get figures that have already been made the regular 6 inch line (Buffy, Angel, Faith, Spike...)! When I first saw pictures of the first DLX wave I was not thrilled but after owning the final versions of the figures, I love them! I am very happy that the line is successful and that we are getting more! Speculation for series 3, anyone?  |

I can't wait to see pictures. It would be cool if the surprise was that they have removeable heads so that you could change them from Vampire to Human, and we could get more figures this way. I'd buy 3 of each if they have interchangeable heads, 1 to keep in the package, 1 to display as human, 1 to display as Vampire.

Awesome --- wouldn't it be cool to have an Angel and a Spike from Becoming part 2? Spike could have a wheelchair accessory that would be perfect for his full articulation!
I bet the next series will have Buffy paired with another character again.

I am not as excited by this line as I was with the Faith/Buffy line. I guess it's because Buffy and Faith hadn't been made in such a long time. I mean, this will be the third wave of figures of Angel and Spike. I know this is seperate line and everything, but I am bored with the choice of Spike and Angel.

Yeah it's finally official! The only surprise I'm hoping for is interchangeable heads. (Please) stop gouging us with the vamp variants and do what should be the standard in this line!

Also hoping for interchangeable vampire/non-vampire heads, but DST previously advised in Ask Diamond that they wouldn't do this.
Hoping we get a OMWF/Season 2 style Spike with red shirt over his black t-shirt and boots worn over his pants and a reguar all in black Angel (Not Fade Away to be episode specific).
I'm thinking these might be likely as neither was really done with the regular (aka boring) figures.
Cannot wait for more news.

Good and Bad Good, male figures to go with the females Bad, MORE Spike and Angel I like them But they just made them, like Higher Power said, we hadnt gotten a new Buffy or Faith in years, now its only been months. What else can they do? A third vampire Spike? A forth vampire Angel? Really. Going to get them, excited, but not alot of variety to choose from, not really any outfit I can think of that has a very important moment in the history of the show that needs to be made or a very awesome physical episode (like Buffy for OMWF) that needs to be made Hopefully ill be proven wrong Maybe these will turn out awesome and Ill feel really stupid for saying everything I did Heres to hoping I feel stupid!!! |

This is great news!
I can't wait to see the variants that are going to be released. I would really like to see Angel and Spike from 'Becoming part 2' and maybe both of them from 'Not Fade Away' they have to have vampire versions so that would take up 6 figures, I would be happy with a wave like that. Who knows maybe Diamond will come up with something better!

I really want an Angel figure from "Angel" with the cross burnt into his chest. I wonder if the surprise is Victorian Angel and Victorian Spike. I really would love them even if they do come in a Deluxe Line. "Not Fade Away" Figures would be awesome as well as figures from "Destiny"
