Sirius Black from "Harry Potter"

I love jsebold87's Hermione figures and I wanted to make my own Harry Potter figure. So I decided to think about which character I really wanted a figure of. I settled very quickly on the late, lamented not-REALLY-gone *denial denial denial* Sirius Black. I based him off of Gary Oldman's portrayal of Sirius from the "Prisoner of Azkaban" movie.



Sirius is made out of a "Just Rewards" Spike body and Professor Xavier head. I sculpted Sirius' shirt, trousers, hair and beard. His base is the floor in the Shrieking Shack, with his "Padfoot" paw prints on it. He comes with Scabbers the rat.

I'm currently working on a double custom of Bill Weasley and Nymphadora Tonks from OotP for a friend of mine. Pictures of them will come later.

He's very well done! Great use of parts, nice smooth repaint and great likeness! I love that he's holding Scabbers! Great Touch!!

I would LOVE to make more Harry Potter customs. I have a whole list characters I would love to do:

(1) Remus Lupin (my personal vision of him, rather than the movie version. Thewlis was okay, but really didn't fit my idea of Remus)
(2) Tom Riddle and Ginny Weasley from my fanfic Lady Darkness
(3) Neville Longbottom and Lavender Brown (my "I wish it had happened" couple)
(4) The Marauders as teenagers
(5) The trio, of course

As I said above, I'm making Bill Weasley and Nymphadora Tonks from "Order of the Phoenix". I do think I'll be doing more Harry Potter customs, but they will probably be based more on my own vision of the characters than the movies. But I'm more than willing to do the movie versions as comissions. Other than the Buffyverse, the Potterverse is my main fandom, so I'm very enthusiastic about exploring the customizing potential there.

That looks really great. A really great use of parts and a good repaint. I think he could be a little spookier about the eyes though. Looking forward to more.

I love this figure! Great choice of parts, likeness, sculpt and paint job! Really wonderful. And you've got to love the paw prints.

That's a really good likeness - you've really built up a resemblance to Gary Oldman from a head that started as a pretty good rendition of Patrick Stewart.

I'm not familiar with the subject matter/character, but by the detailing you can tell how passionate you are about it! He has a lot of character to him, and the combination of parts works extremely well.
