I just got my Issue today and I've just read it. I really liked this issue. Despite the fact that it doesn't have much to do with any of the main characters I think that it's nice that Joss has decided to tell the story of one of the background characters for a change. I know that The Other Ben said that it wasn't really an emotional issue for him, but I found it quite moving. This girl has been activated, sent off on a mission and saved the world and died in the process. And the last line "You don't even know who I am. But I do". I found this very sad and I think it was a great way to end the story. It was cool when she saved three of her friends from being hit by the truck and the way she was thrown back, eyes white after being activated. I also found the commercial hilarious, especially with Andrew and Vi, although I have to admit it was tough to recognize them at first. The appearances of Giles and Rona were cool too. The demons and mystical creatures were fun to see. We hadn't yet seen any fairies or anything on Buffy in the show so I didn't think they existed, but in the Buffyverse, anythings possible. I loved seeing a few vampires, because we hadn't seen one in the first 4 issues, so it was great to see them. Overall, I really enjoyed this standalone issue and I hope that there are many more to come!

great issue.
Loved the art work, although I didnt like the way Andrew was drawn...he was too chiseled looking if that makes sense. vi was cute though, at firts I thought it was willow but then realized it obviously wasnt.
Sad issue but I wasnt deeply moved or anything, I loved the ending though.
and I just love the jo chen front cover as usual, its stunning.

Interesting issue. It was very philosophical...or tried to be. Overall, I liked it. Besides telling the story of this one Slayer, it seems to me that the main purpose of the issue was to introduce that new demon (forgot his name). I think we'll be seeing more of him.

I think it's a little early in the season 8 story to start doing one-offs. I can't say I enjoyed this issue.

OK not the best so far but it was amazing, totally loved it. Forget how thin the story was for a moment but if they made that into a proper episode it would of been beautiful. I love the background music in buffy and I think it could of rivaled you're welcome for the saddess tear jerker episode ever. was it Rona or Oliva? can't wait for the faith arc, season 8 is the best so far, why did they stop the show. with a new generation of buffy fans appearing they really should start it up again.

I finally got this issue (thanks to TFAW "fast" shipping it took 25 days to deliver ). I got to say that while it wasn't involving major characters (except Giles, Ronna, Vi and Andrew) it has a fantastic story. Since we got a decent glimpses of the Rome "Buffy", I always wondered about the second double and this issue showed it in fantastic way of mixing the time line. Good stuff!

I finally received issue #5 from BCC a couple of days ago. I was a little confused the first time I read it but after a second and third reading, I really enjoyed it. It would have made a beautiful episode. I hope that they do another one focusing on "The Girl in Question".
