Here is an in progress look at one of several drawings that I am currently working on. This drawing features Kristen Bell as Elle from the second season of "Heroes" I was inspired to do this drawing after seeing the comic book version of Elle from the TV Guide cover that was drawn by artist Michael Turner. I loved the pose and attitude and thought the drawing captured Elle's character perfectly. I wanted to draw the same thing as a realistic portrait Here is the TV Guide Cover... here is the first in progress scan of the drawing. I still have to work out a lot of fine details and smooth a few rough edges. as always constructive comments and criticisms are welcomed and appreciated so Please let me know what you think (good or bad)

Oh, so gunna buy this print, it just looks amazing. You've captured her so well, though I am kinda not sure that it isn't matching the last couple of Heroes pieces you've done with the actors/cartoon doing length-ways, but thats just my personaly weridness of things all being in suite, but she still looks amazing.
I can't wait to see the end result.

Thanks again for all the awesome feedback. Your comments mean a lot to me Oh, so gunna buy this print, it just looks amazing. You've captured her so well, though I am kinda not sure that it isn't matching the last couple of Heroes pieces you've done with the actors/cartoon doing length-ways, but thats just my personaly weridness of things all being in suite, but she still looks amazing. I can't wait to see the end result. When desigining this drawing I was also apprehensive about changing the format and making it different from my previous "Heroes" drawings...this is why I ultimately made the change. The first 2 drawings showed both Claire and Peter as they looked in season 1 of the series; that combined with my interpetation of the art of Artist Tim Sale (whose Art was prominately featured in season 1) gave those two drawing the "feel" of season 1.. There is a fine line between doing an "Homage" or "Tribute" to another artist's work and just plain copying. Since there haven't been any of Isaac's paintings showing Elle (as far as we know) I took that into factor when I decided to do a portrait of Elle; I decided to go into a different direction representing The second season of the show. Future drawings in my Heroes series (Hiro, Nikki, HRG etc..) will be done in this new style.

Thanks for all of the Awesome comments Your feedback means a lot to me! Here is an update for the Elle Drawing. In this update I have blocked in Kristen Bell's portrait and have started blocking in the background. I still need to add Electricity highlights to the hair, face and body...which will be done as the drawing progresses. as always constructive comments and criticisms are welcomed and appreciated so Please let me know what you think ;D
