I've just completed two more MJ sketches, so let me know what you think. They're not as good as my last one, but then again, I spent half the time on them. But overall, I am really happy with them. I may add more detail to Michael's face in #1, but I think he'll do for now: I'm planning to do quite a few more MJ sketches (To make a sort of Wall Collage), but I also want to do some Buffy ones too. Let me know your opinions or If you've got any ideas for either my next MJ ones, or any Buffy/Angel art And one of my earliar ones....

Both of these drawings are very well executed. your compositions attention to details are fantastic. You've definitely captured Michael Jackson's likeness. The only suggestion I could make would be for you to enhance the contrast of the drawing (some of the contrast could have been lost in the photograph due to the flash, since graphite sometimes casts a glare) but with this aside; I believe that if you use more deeper Blacks and pure white highlights your drawing will have more energy and interest. One technique that I find useful, is that after you finish the drawing, wait a day or two (so that your mind is fresh) then go back and with black acrylic, touch up the darkest areas of the drawing (the deepest shadows, creases folds the reflection on the glasses etc...). Then do the same with white acrylic on the lightest highlighted areas ( the shine on the glasses, jewelry, anything that sparkles, tip of the nose and lips etc..). You don't have to go overboard with the touch ups, just a little here and there and you will find that it makes a lot of difference. I hope that you will continue to post your art work. You are very talented and it will be a pleasure to see what you create next. I would also like to see pictures of your collage when it is completed

I've just finished another. I think this one will be my last for a while because of the fact that it took so long! I took wyatt309's advice and I tried to use a bit more contrast, plus I tried to use a sharper pencil to make sure that his facial features seemed more defined. This is Michael Jackson from his 1997 HIStory World Tour: Let me know what you think!

I am honored that you took my advise. The contrast in the lights and darks are much better. In my opinion this drawing stands out which makes the whole drawing more dynamic and interesting. You get the feeling that Michael Jackson may just step out of the drawing itself! I really hope that you will continue to do drawings and other Art work as you are truly Talented. I would like to see you try your hand at some drawings done with pen and Ink...I know that they would be fantastic I hope that you will post more of your Art Work as it would be a pleasure to see what you come up with next!

Excellent work! I'm a MJ fan too. I'd love to see a drawing of Michael from the Keep It In the Closet video.

Very imoressive...is he supposed to be life size? 'Cause it looks pretty big. Thanks! He's actually not as big as the pictures make out. He's about 21 Inches from the top of his head to the tip of his toes. (Not including all the dead space around him .

After seeing Wayne's latest drawing, I was inspired to do yet more MJ art. Here's one I cooked up this afternoon - took me about two or three hours. And then there's this one, which I have been working on for quite some time. I can't bring myself to finish it though. To me, there's something about it that's just 'off'. As always, comments are welcome

Awesome! The likeness to Michael Jackson in both drawings are top Notch Your Drawing skills improve with every new drawing that you create! There is nothing that I could suggest that would help you to improve these drawings... After all, it would be hard for you to improve on perfection, which in my opinion, you certainly have achieved with your 2 latest creations! I hope that you will continue to post your art work. It is truly a pleasure to see what you create...Keep up the Awesome work!
