Banner Challenge #8: The Shows Are Back!!!

Welcome to the 8th BtVSFigs Banner Challenge!

These competitions are meant to be an awesome experience for members, and now they will be back to do just that. I hope to give people the pleaure of competing through their computer graphic skills, and also allow non-banner makers to enjoy looking at great art. Since this weeks Challenge comes after such a long pause I thought it would make perfect sense for the theme to be Season Openers. (Hehe, get it?! ) Anyway, so for this banner challenge you must use a scene from the first episode of any season in either Buffy or Angel. If you have any questions as to what would be acceptable, feel free to PM me.

The Rules:

- Only ONE Entry may be submitted. No more than that. If you do happen to send me more than one, I will ask you to choose only one of them to be your entry.

- Entries will have a size limit, The maximum size being 605 x 195 pixels and the minimum size being 400 x 125 pixels. If you are not sure exactly how to tell the size, examples can be seen here:

- Banners must focus on the given theme. It may have any actor/actress that played a character on Buffy or Angel or a scene from the two shows as long as it fits in with the current theme.

- Try to implement your own style, so we get some variety. Looking at the same type of graphics can get a little boring and people may loose interest.

- Most importantly, have fun! Enjoy creating your banners and make sure this challenge a great one!


You have from Now until February 27th to send in your entry. After the ending date is up and I have received all the entries, I will host them all onto a photobucket account and will post them all at once to keep the creator's names secret. The Banners will be voted upon in a week’s time, and the Winning banner will be declared.

mine is almost done I would have finished it two days ago but my friend kidnapped me and did my hair...i have to do facepainting today though..so i'mm be home to finish it soon...unless my friend comes through with the MyChem tickets

Its really nice to see such a range in winners....besides you who has won twice every time theres been a new winner which is wicked.

i wonder how many people have submitted a banner, its a shame we dont get as many as the first banner competition, i wasnt here for that one, but there were a lot of entries!
