I made a new Cordelia drawing. It's going to be a title page for the character herself in a new project i'm working on. I'm doing one for each of the main Angel characters, Cordy here was the first one where I managed to get the text to a decent quality. The amount of times I went wrong trying to write 'Fred'...... I did the writing by hand, though it's based on a ready made font, French Script I think. It's a little untidy in places, but it took so long to do... I wasn't up for doing it all over again just because I made a 'd' a little thick. The Pic was based on some Cordy promo shot. Let me know what you all think! All comments welcomed. A zoomed in image, of the pic itself. I may do Illyria next. If anyone could direct me to a certain picture, i'd be really grateful. It's one where she's in motion, I think DL used it for his Illyria sticker.

The Drawing of Cordelia is nice, I can definitely see a likeness to the character. The only comments I could make is that the nose on the drawing is a little small in comparison the eyes and lips and the eyes are a little too far apart. From experience, I can tell you that Charisma Carpenter's likeness is quite a challenge and getting it right can be difficult. I know that with practice you will have no problem at perfecting the likeness. Your skills a Calligraphy are Awesome . Until you said that you did the letters by hand, I thought that they were done with photo-shop. The only thing that I could suggest here would be to put the words "Cordelia Chase" below the drawing instead of under the title "Cordelia", doing this would give a better flow to the over all layout and make the presentation look more complete and unified. You are truly Talented and I hope that you will continue to post your work. I look forward to seeing what you come up with next Scotty--

Thanks Scotty! I have quite a bit of difficulty with noses; I usually end up just abandoning them and going on to some other detail. I really do have to keep practicing with facial details. Those lips were annoying too… Next one up, Spike. I might update him at some point though, he looks a little young at the moment, plus I need to clean up the background a bit too, where i've smudged it slightly. Again, comments greatly appreciated!

These are really good. I love the face on Cordelia and the shading on Spike's jacket. Your calligraphy is amazing too. I couldn't believe it when I found out that the lettering was done by hand. The only thing I'd suggest you doing is next time your draw Cordelia, you may want to make her come across a bit 'bustier' as the chest at the moment doesn't look very much like Charisma's, if you know what I mean Great job! If you're doing one for all the Angel main characters, I can't wait to see Lorne and Wesley.

Beautiful drawings, OuijaRick!
Cordy looks astonishing; I especially like her expression – you really captured Charisma. Spike is also very well done, though the hair is should be slightly bigger.
