Buffy finally knows who she's really facing. How is she supposed to take down the Devil? This is one of those times where she wishes she wasn't Chosen for this profession


Buffy paces around franticly, not knowing what she can do. Being the slayer, she's had all the answers, all the responsibility. But she doesn't want it this time.
Buffy: "How am I supposed to fight the devil?"
Anya trys offering a helpful hand to a rhetorical question "Maybe douse her with some holy water?"
Everyone just looks at her dumbfounded


As a woman walks into the Magic Box Giles greets her with a warm welcome.
Giles: "Welcome to the Magic Box, if you have any..."
But the woman cuts him off
Woman: "No need, I'm looking for a Buffy Summers"
Buffy: "That's me" Buffy replies thinking (More people who need me)


The woman flashes her badge
FBI Agent: "FBI - I need to take you in for some questions about your friend Sarah.
Buffy replies quite calm even though she's about ready to jump out of her skin "Sure"


Buffy looks around the alley, not knowing what she just got roped into and not even knowing the woman's name "Is this the way to your car?"
The woman has a smirk on her face when she says "Not exactly"


Within a moment's notice the woman transforms into Demina!
Demina: "Shape shifting.. it's a wonderful thing isn't it"
Buffy steps back, not knowing if she should run.. or try to fight her with her broken arm. To her either way will fail.


Demina thrusts her hand into Buffy's chest to take over her body


But instead, Buffy turned into Demina...
Demina: "Well that didn't turn out right now did it?"


Demina's Lair
Demina drops Buffy's body.. or in this case Demina's body on the ground. "She's still out cold. Why didn't it work? Well this can work to our advantage right? The scoobies don't have their slayer to protect them. I can easily just waltz in there and take my box of goodies back!"



Giles is reading the book to try and milk it for anymore information when he comes upon "It says here that Demina will rise again to retrieve a freedom solution and the power source to release herself from human form and all the struggles that we deal with.


Oz picks up something from the table that Buffy had previously brought in "Well I'm guessing we have the power source.."


Suddenly the bell rings and in walks Demina. Hoping that Demina didn't hear the words that just came out of his mouth, Oz quickly hides the power source behind his back.
Demina looks at everyone and says " Hello, Since your missing your Slayer I thought I'd pop in and get my belongings back."



Angel steps up and says " You'll have to go through me first"
Demina smiles and shrugs "Not a problem"



Demina punches Angel so hard that he flys back into the weapons cabinet
Demina: Now that that's over where should I begin? I need my power source which Buffy stole from me. Who should I kill first to get it?



Demina's Lair
Drusilla: Rise N'Shine Buffy
Buffy: What am I doing here? Get away from me.
Drusilla lunges at Buffy but she does a back flip, kicking Dru in the face.



The vampire on the back wall comes after Buffy as well


Buffy tosses her in the T.V. quicker then the spring on a mouse trap.


Spike grabs Buffy, throws her against the wall and puts his hand over her throat, choking her.
Spike: "Slayer, leave that little bit Demina to me! Go take care of your friends.."



Spike lets go of Buffy and motions her to go.. Buffy can really see his soul, but isn't sure if it's Spike the True Champion.. or Spike the Bloody. She doesn't care, she realizes staying here is only leaving her friends in danger.
Buffy: "Thank you" while running out of Demina's Lair


Demina looks through the weapon cabinet while Angel is unconscious. "So many weapons to choose from. I think I like this one"


But right as Demina picks up the Scythe she gets hit in the back of the head with a Sledge Hammer



Buffy: "I've always liked this one, knocks you out every time"


Demina gets back up "Think again"
Buffy fires back with "You know what's weird. Since I've been in your body.. apart of you, my arms feeling A WHOLE LOT better.. I've always got some of your powers!"



Buffy jams her hand into Demina's chest, repeating what Demina had recently done
Buffy: I bet you never would have expected that!



Buffy begins to transform back into her own body



Demina backs away towards the Magic Box Door
Demina: "That's not going to save you and your friends next time. Once I get rid of this cheap body I'll reign over all!
Buffy: "All I hear is talking... I think you better leave" For once in this battle Buffy feels superior to Demina.. Maybe she can find away to beat her. It just takes time


Molly: THAT'S RIGHT! She better leave, I was ready to beat her down. You know I can wield a mean shovel!
Angel replies while rubbing his head " Don't be in such a rush Molly. We are going to need you for this. Not getting yourself killed. I don't think that will be the last we see of Demina"



Willow: "She better be careful. Next time I see her she's going down.
Tara watches the anger Willow has for Demina after letting Drusilla kill her girlfriend. Tara used to be the one.. the one who held the key to Willow's heart. Tara looks down and walks into the back of the Magic Box


Demina: "Why did she turn into me? I was supposed to be able to take over her body. This body itches! I'm tired of this! I can only shape shift into one body for soo long! HOW DID SHE SLIP OUT OF HERE WITH ALL OF YOU GUARDING!"
Spike: "I don't know, that Slayer's a tough one.."
Drusilla: "I smell daddy all over you!"


Darla: Are you actually going to hold up your part of the deal?
Demina: Yes, Angelus will be on our side shortly.. time is all we need.

Wow SideStrike, once again, this has been a magnificently riveting episode! The plot was great and I honestly cannot wait to find out what happens next... You are really talented! I am surprised at how many true-to-the-series twists there are in your episodes! This is great! Keep up the amazing work!!

I also love the plot. It's been so interesting, which fabulous turns.

I guess we now know why Dru and Darla are willing to take orders from Demina: To get Angelus back! That's a wonderful idea.

I like what you did with the Tara figure to make her the FBI agent. She looks good like that.

That was cool how Buffy had some of Demina's powers. I hope that some time in the future we will find out why the shapeshifting power didn't work the right way on Buffy.

I like the brick wall. That looked cool.

Buffy's flip kick looked great too.

The shapeshifting special effect looked really cool.

I'm also interested to findo out why Dru, Darla, and Demina believe that Spike is on their side.
