Ok, so the season finale of "How I Met Your Mother" featured series regular Alyson Hannigan (Willow), and guest stars Alexis Denisof (Wesley) and Amy Acker (Fred/Illyria). At this rate, by mid-next season, the show will be a "Buffy" reunion -- which would be awesome.

Thats so cool, the three of them together.
This has only just started in the uk with the second episode only just having been shown on sunday, so how many episode are there in this season cos I want to see the finale now!
I doubt we'll see any more buffy/angel characters stepping in later though...maybe charisma...? I heard her and aly were friendly.
Be wicked cool if amy and/or alexis got recurring roles. But I can't really see either character being a good comedy actor. Although their whole drunken part in life of the party was well done and funny...and improvised.

I'll be honest...I hate this show, as it's well known...but...Amy Acker was funny in the finale (which I broke down and watched). It was like a Buffy reunion...except...none of the 3 actors had scenes together.

I'll be honest...I hate this show, as it's well known...but...Amy Acker was funny in the finale (which I broke down and watched). It was like a Buffy reunion...except...none of the 3 actors had scenes together. Yeah I thought that was kind of weird too, keeping them all apart -- then again, Alexis and Alyson did have a scene together a couple episodes back. With what's happening plot-wise, though, I wonder if Alexis will be back at all next season. It seems like they've written his semi-recurring character out at this point. |
