I know the line is in risk as it is, but if by some miracle the deluxe line were to continue on, would anybody want a deluxe "Halloween" boxset? We already have Willow tooled, and I don't think a Cordy or Xander would be that hard. Xander could use the 50s Angel body with possibly a new jacket and maybe a new head. The interchangeable feature would be episode specific and the only accesory he would really need is a gun. Cordy could just use the Halloween Willow legs, generic deluxe torso and arms, and would only need a repainted "Wish" Cordy head with new hair that had ears.
A Buffy would be great to round out the set, but I don't really think it needs to be deluxe. However, it wouldn't be impossible to make. It could be made of a generic lower torso, generic upper arms, GD head, and Halloween Willow legs. It would require "lacy" lower arms, new upper torso, a puffy skirt, and some new hair (although interchangeable hair for when the spell ends would be cool as well).
I know it's a long shot, but I still think it would be a cool and relatively easy set to make. The biggest issue, though, is Buffy. I'm not exactly sure they could fit her in a boxset, what with the overly large dress and all.
Anyway, sorry for making such a long post, but I just wanted your take on this idea. Good night!

I think it would be an awesome box set. But, I think Buffy would be the breaking point. It was one of Buffy's better variant looks and I'm sure it's come up at DST to make her, but the part productions probably out weighted the profit - and it wouldn't be parts they could reuse to often again.
But, I could def. see some 2-packs happening. a Xander/Willow would be the easiest choice, since Xander could be done really with 100% reused parts (hopefully the head would get a slight hair mod tho).
Willow/Oz could be another great option ... doing a deluxe Oz. Tool one of the Oz heads and use a Hawaiian spike repainted for the rest.

I think that if they would've done concepts like this before they would've saved the line and if they were in scale and the facial sculpts were good they would've outsold them. Halloween Figures and Vampire Figures have always been great sellers.
I'd love to see:
"Halloween" Boxset with: Deluxe Sexy Ghost Willow Deluxe Cat Cordelia Deluxe Victorian Buffy
"Fear, Itself" 2 pack with: Deluxe Red Riding Hood Buffy Deluxe Tuxedo Xander Deluxe Joan of Arc Willow
"All the Way" Boxset with: Deluxe Wizard Giles Deluxe Pirate Xander Deluxe Charlie's Angels Anya

A whole Xander wave would be piss easy to make with reuse. The soft plastic shirt of the DST Xand fits over the deluxe male torso, so many varients could be made very cheaply, including any of the ones already done.

I really wish that the Deluxe Line would continue. I wanted Riley, Harmony, Gunn, Fred, Cordelia, Anya, Tara and then Xander and even more Buffy. It would've been nice to have more Xander figures, I still want a Tuxedo Xander ("Fear, Itself" & "Hell's Bells"), Pirate Xander ("All The Way"), and "The Pack" Xander (capturing him from the first season)

I like the idea. It really is too bad we may never see the Deluxe figures continue on. I had high hopes after getting the Deluxe Angel & Spike figures. They blew me away. I was imagining Riley, Wesley, Connor, Xander, Gunn, Giles, Wood... hell, even Lindsey, using those two basic male Deluxe bodies. As for the newly made female body parts, I could see them doing Fred, Season 1 Buffy, Cordelia, Anya, Harmony, Lilah... anyone. I am more upset thinking about the Deluxe line ending than the regular line. (Although there are some of those "final" regular figures I'm dying to get, like Band Candy Giles.) But I always thought that DST would stop making regular figures at some point anyway, and continue the Deluxes since they always said Deluxe was the style they preferred. If we really never see anything more from the Deluxe line, I will have to make my own Deluxe versions of characters. I've already started building up the "fodder" to use...
