From the company website:
Will the block figs have realistic heads with block style bodies?
No realistic heads. All block style like Mini Mates and Kubricks.

Groovy. Thanks for the update! I think i prefer the block style for human characters. The mez-its are cool but would be strange for buffy human characters.

Are these going to be like Lego figures and can you use them with Lego playsets?

Well, I personally feel we're getting a block figure overload lately, but this will help to round out the Buffy collection. I think the stylized faces would work best--just look at the Marvel mini-mates. They have the character down pat, but they don't look realistic. I think Palisades will put out a superior product, but the only interest for me is if they think big in terms of more character selection! If it's just Buffy, the regular Scoobies, and that's it I say "eh."
One good thing I can potentially see with the line is you can create your own buffy "variants" by switching bodies without sawing into them! ;D

I'm definitely open to checking them out. If they tickle my fancy - well, then...yay!
If not - one less thing to spend my money on.

I just picked up the hellboy Mez-itz today, and I've changed my mind - they should have done these with sculpted heads. I'm so impressed on the quality of these sculpts, especially Hellboy and Rasputin, that I think Palisades could have pulled off Buffy and Angel in a similar style.

The more Buffy merchandise the better, but I just can't get into those minimates. If they are more like freddy and Jason.. then maybe.

I'm gonna buy them regardless if they're ugly or not. I love Buffy way too much to pass anything new up!
