I searched around for a previoius thread on this, but came up empty. What's the general consensus on the block figures from Palisades?
Michael MWC and yes, I know we really haven't seen anything yet...

I'm fairly uninterested in the whole idea, but am looking forward to seeing some pictures and re-evaluating then.

I'm fairly up in the air right now. I suspect even seeing pictures won't make a big difference for me, since I'm pretty sure I know what these will look like.
Palisades does excellent work, and the person responsible for this line is very good, but I'm not sure I really wanted to see block figures for Buffy. Maybe if they're in scale with the handful of others I have...

I'd say the more Buffy products the better. It'll keep interest in Buffy merchandise going for longer, and it'll give people more options on what kinds of merchandise to buy.

i think as long as look ok they'll be pretty cool! they will come out a lot faster than the 6in figures and that means we will a lot more figures faster! ;D

I have absolutly no inteterest in these whatsoever. I personally think block toys are a waste of money, and ugly. For the price of most of them, you can go buy a decently articulated 6 inch figure. Just my opinion but I would rather have a full size, normal figure...

I'm not that familiar with other block figures, so I'm not really sure what they will look like. It'll be intresting to see which characters they chose to do and all. I'm just excited to see something new.

I'm not a fan of the minimates, I would have much preferred them to resemble something like the MezItz from Mezco. I just love my little Jason.

I like Mezitz better too - at least for non-human looking characters. I'm not sure how a 'realistically' sculpted buffy head would look on one of those bodies though.

Couldn't they do both? Humans and vampires could be done in the Minimate style while big demons could be similar to Mez-Itz.

Im not really interested, unless they're making characters different to the original line (Dawn, Riley, Dawn,Mayor...) im not going to buy them. They uninterest me. They look a lot of money for little out-of-proportion peice of plastic. Im hoping my attitude will change when i see them, but i very much doubt it.

I kinda like the block figures. I have Jason, Freddy and Leatherface set that Mezco did. I also have the Dark Angel and Star Trek ones from Art Asylum. So i am anxious to see what Palisadesdoes with Buffy.

I am looking forward to it as I have been collecting Marvel minimates but then I stopped and moved back to my Buffy figure addiction! I just think anything Buffy would be good but it would be better if they released series 6 and angel series 2 action figuresd before they started them. I mean this year I am completly running out of Money! I have £20 put away for my holiday in spain but I'll probably bring another £10 as if I need anything my parents can give me money...that leaves me £60 but I'm after a Oz and Xander first. I'm making more money by selling my GBA,games and battery pack on Ebay altogether so if you are interested the link is below.. My reserve is £24.99.... cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3085364831

I have the dark angel minimate coming my way. I am interested in these. I started to do some lego buffy customs a while ago and haven't gotten around to finishing them. I am just a buffy junkie so I will most likely get them. Just hink you could carry around spike or buffy in your pocket all day and no one would know! te he..

Scary thought there Alyrenee, "And why do you have such a big smile on your face? Are you just happy to see me, or is there a Spike in your pocket?"
