I am looking forward to these Block figures but I would rather know if they are definetly going ahead and what size are they going to be? I think the size will be like the Star-Trek minimates (sold seperatly) rather than the mini marvel minimates (sold in 2 packs)
So what do you want from Line 1+ 2 if it goes ahead and who knows? If they're succesful after 3 series of em' we might get Angel ones? I'd like em' to get with series per season from season 1 upwards....
I think they'll be seperate with accesories.
So here's what I want:
Series 1:
Buffy - with stake and cross. Willow - with school book and laptop. Giles - with Vampyre Book and holy water vile. Xander - with axe and stake. Master - with candle stick (like figure) Angel - with interchangable human and vampire head.
Vampire and Master 2 pack special...
Series 2:
Oz - with electric guitar and stake. Cordelia - with handbag and phone. Spike - with railway spike. Judge - with box to put him in like in the episode. Werewolf Oz - with transquiliser gun. Buffy - update with crossbow and stake.
Spike and Drusilla series 2 pack special...
So what do you think of my ideas? I know theres alot per series but who knows? What would you like??

series one:
Buffy (stake) & Master (candleabra) Willow (book) & Xander (ax) Giles (crossbow) & Angel (sword) chase: Vampire Angel
series two:

Here's what I'd like to see:
- Buffy and Master from "Prophecy Girl" (Buffy in dress.) - Willow and Xander from "Welcome To The Harvest" ...Among other Season One figures...
Well, I NEED a Gwen Raiden figure if they choose to produce Angel figures as well.

Okay, call me ignorant - what are Block Figures? Is this like a Kubrick figure or something? New to the boards, so just post a link is this in reference to an announcement or something I missed. Thanks! :-)

Well....DST announced that they have the right to produce block type figures based on BTVS...don't have the link.....I would classify "block figures" as any small figure that represents a character yet is made in an unusual scale and shape...to the best of my knowledege (as I have a Yahoo Collector's group on this and the Marvel Mini-Mates) some examples are:
Kubricks by Medicom Japan (Bruce Lee, Batman, Anime) Mini-Mates by Art Asylum (Marvel, Star Trek, DC) Mez-Itz by Mezco (Alien, Hellboy, Army of Darkness) SMITIs by Stevenson Entertainment (KISS, No Doubt) I-Men by Toynami (Dragonball Z, Futurama) BLOXX by Dreamazz (Terminator 3) Bearbricks by Medicom Japan (assorted color bears) Xevoz by Hasbro (although this is debated)
and the newest addition
GEOMs by NECA (Pulp Fiction...just got my first set)
Althought his has been debated before with friends and other people online...to be considered a "block figure"...you must be out of proportion yet still have at least one point of articulation (thus the "Homies" line isn't considered). Anyway...I hope this helps.

Palisades is actually the company producing the block-style figures, not DST.
I'm assuming these will be similar to the popular MiniMate style. I like that style the best, but we'll see what Palisades does.
I'd like the new line to include all of the core Scoobies, but also have equal representation of demons and vampires. Spike, Angel, Buffy, Willow, Xander, Giles, Dawn, Anya, Tara.... all of them for sure. Definitely more if the line is successful.
