I think the main characters will appear again in each series, since in the description it is "Buffy/Xander/Willow/Giles...as s/he appeared in Season 1.

Sounds good! I'm sure they wanted to get the Scooby gang out of the way right away, as they don't want to piss us all off! That only left two spots, and they went with Season 1-only villains. Makes sense. I also wouldn't be surpised if we got a new Buffy each series in an updated look, and maybe one updated Scooby member. Here's my predictions:
Season 2: Buffy (Season 2 look), Angel (with vamp face), Drusilla (with vamp face), Miss Calendar, Cordelia, The Judge
Season 3: Buffy, Faith, The Mayor, Willow/Vamp Willow, Kakistos, Oz
Season 4: Buffy, Adam, Riley, Gentleman, Ethan Rayne, Giles/Fyarl Giles
Season 5: Buffy, Dawn, Joyce, Glory, Glory's henchman, Spike (with vamp face)
Season 6: Buffy, Tara, Anya, Warren, Jonathan, Willow/Dark Willow
Saeson 7: Buffy, The First, Ubervamp, Andrew, Xander/Eye Patch Xander, Caleb
Ooh, there's still more, though! Vamp Xander, The Primitive, Kendra, Mr. Trick, Sweet, The Bringers, various generic vamps ... I'd buy them all!
And since I'm feeling creative, here's some Angel possiblities:
Season 1: Angel, Doyle, Cordelia, Wesley, Lyndsay, Kate
Season 2: Angel (with Pylea vamp face), Gunn, Darla, Merle, Gruslagg, Fred
Season 3: Angel, Connor, Lorne, Justine, Holtz, Sahjan
Season 4: Angelus, Cordelia, Jasmine, The Beast, Skip, Lilah
Season 5: Angel, Lawyer Gunn, Illyria, Eve, Lyndsay, and whatever shows up in the last 7 episodes
Man, that Angel one was a lot harder.

How many lines are there normally in a year with minimate thingys, i know you can't tell with the Buffy ones, but just wondering. Let us pray and BEG!!!!!! that they don't do anything like the mini-mates. Now I have to tell you aI love mini-mates...I even have a website devoted to them and other block figures....but AA and DST who do the mini-mates thing fall behind with them so much. I mean..we just had a Magneto and Professor X mini-mates set be released that should have seen the light of day in early fall of LAST year. They delay EVERYTHING at least once. Even now...I am waiting for my Lord of the Rings mini-mates that were to be released in April/May origianlly and now been delayed a month or two. They schedule these way far in advance. I would hope that Palisades puts these out at 3 sets per year (that would be sufficent)....and I just thoguht of something else: A few of us have been wondering about Angel not being in series one.....if you go to the Palisades website and go to their forums you can read some info about these fromt he creators of the line and they indeed did say there would be exclusives....I fear Angel may be the exclusive for series one.

I bet series two will be: Angel, Spike, Drusilla, Oz, Cordelia, Judge Here's hoping we get a Kendra...Oz may have been in the second season, but he didn't really come into his own until the third...and I don't know why everyone is on about the judge...unless he comes with seperate bozes for his body parts...

From ToyDepot site: At the request of Palisades Toys we have been asked to pull the information previously posted about the Buffy Block Figures. This information was given to us to post directly from Palisades . . . Upon final approvals we will post this information again. *** I suspect this means we won't get pictures this week

why is everyone putting a Buffy in every single line?
I'd do...

series three. Oz/Werewolf Oz Cordelia Faith Mayor Snyder Wesley
series four. Riley Gentlemen Anya/Anyanka Adam D'Hoffryn Jonathan
series five. Buffy Glory/Ben Dawn Joyce Giles Jinx
series six. Willow/DarkWillow Tara Xander Amy Warren/Skinless Warren Sweet
series seven. Faith / Amanda Buffy / Vi Turok Han / Bringer Spike / Rona Caleb/Caleb black eyes WillowWhite / Kennedy
Series seven: Double character ones - dunno how - removeable hair I guess.

Everyone is putting a Buffy in every single line because you and some other people on this board are thinking of these in action figure perspective. These are totally different and so the reasoning behind each set is gonna be different than ones that say DST does. I say put a Buffy in every line because these seem to be based on the seasons, or at least it sounded that way from the info posted. It'd be pretty lame to have season 1 Buffy, but then a season 4 Buffy, and you're missing 2 & 3 or something like that. So Buffy in every line is a smart move for people to be making. It's more realistic in thinking-

Hello everyone, I am a moderator over at the Palisades Toys board and am involved in development of the Buffy block figures, as well. If anyone has nay questions about these figures, I will try to anser them as best I can, with whatever info I'm allowed to release at the time. I also suggest anyone interested in our other Buffy items, the Prop replicas licenced thru our other company, Factory X, to check out the Palisades Toys Messageboard over at www.palisadestoys.comAs a one time collector of the MAC Buffy/Angel figs, I feel very comfortable here. I have read thru some of the other forums and think I will enjoy being a member here and look forward to talking and dealing with other members in the future.

I have been waiting for this a looong time. I also have a question: Will these block figures be like legos or will they be detailed?

Thanx for the warm welcome, everyone. Will these block figures be like legos or will they be detailed? Originally the figs were to be the 2" minimate scale, but upon further review, we have tossed that out and are now going with a new scale of approx. 2 1/2" same as Kubricks. Which is really cool of you think about it, cause Kubricks has those Universal Monsters sets that can stand in for Buffy monsters until we can get some produced. The faces will be painted like most block figs. with add-on clothing accessories as well as painted details on the parts as well. As for the ToyDepot announcement...That release was sent by the sales dept. ENTIRELY too early. The information in that release is already obsolete, there have been changes made to the figs that will make our block figs really unique. As with any release, though, there was alot of true info there. The headstones for buliding your own cemetary is till on, and each fig will come with the extra parts to make another version of itself. The primary example being The Master fig. He comes as normally dressed in his black outfit, but also the arms and legs and head to add to make the skeleton verson, with the wooden plank. The Main characters will have changes of clothes mostly, and plenty of accesssories. Some other Misc. info....There will be a chase figure case packed, and there will be exclusives. More info on these as I'm allowed. Let's just suffice to say , you will NOT be dissappointed. And for those of you who love the chase of finding all the variations and such, we have some surprises for you as well. enuff for now.... thanx for all the support, and glad to be here!
