I'm a fan of Sideshow's Premium Format figures. I'm also a big Buffy fan. So what could be better than combining the two? Well, the first try didn't quite work out as well as I'd hoped. I'm reviewing the PF Buffy tonight, and she has a major issue - the old lazy left eye. And in this scale, and at this price point, it's definitely a major issue. Spike looks quite a bit better, but then he's not the main character, now is he? You can find all the reviews at the usual: www.mwctoys.comThanks for reading! Michael MWC

I must admit, not that most interesting figure... Something like Chosen Buffy or The Gift Buffy would have put that PF to real use. Oh well...
Nice review.

Yeah, i agree with you DL- i would have rather had buffy in a different outfit. Personally i don't like figures in clothes that were worn in promo shoots, because to me that's the actor, not the character. 'Chosen' buffy would have rocked, or even 'welcome to the hellmouth' buffy if they wanted the short skirt/big boots look.

My Buffy PF figure has no lazy eye and is almost perfect except for 2 things: there is a small chip in her hair and her hair is loose. It doesn't seem worth sending for a replacement if it there's a chance of getting one with a lazy eye. The hair seems to stay in place but I may epoxy it at a future date.
The lazy eye would drive me nuts; I get upet over this issue with the 6 inch scale figures (like school girl Darla).

I really want them to do a PF Willow, mean, you can do SO MUCH with her. It'd be great. And something fresh rather then Buffy and Spike.

Thanks a lot for the review Michael, helpful and informative as always As for the figure herself, I think she's brilliant. However she has her flaws. I would still very much like to purchase PF Buffy but the main problem for me is the collossal price tag that accompanies her.
