I was quite lucky to get Darla for about £35, which I think comes to about $65. Just won a human Sideshow Spike, mint and boxed, for £41 ($76?) though. I'm very chuffed about that.
They are out there!

lost another auction for darla, still on waitlist with sideshow since decemeber and they says it probably won't ever happen and that i should try to enter some of their contests. So i'm SOL

I can't say that this is a tip that's always going to work, but sometimes it's a case of going through every single listing of a figure, including worldwide sellers that will post to your country. For example, the Spike turned up simply because I typed in "Spike" and searched through Toys & Games. People don't always mention Sideshow, MAC, or Diamond, whether it's human or vamp or something, so it can be a little broad.
It can take a lot of wading, but it can be worth it.
