Now that they have the major players announced for the Buffy line, what do you want to see next? I would like to see them focus on particular episodes, if/when they do revisit characters. Of course, I still want to see Anya, Tara, Riley, and Dawn from BTVS and Wes, Gunn, Harmony and many more from Angel. And of those, I want them in iconic attire that covers the articulation, such as: Anya from Chosen (and maybe a Sideshow exclusive with the bunny suit from Fear Itself). Tara from OMWF - "Under Your Spell" outfit or Hush - using the first appearance outfit like the DST release, but with that neat criss-cross part in her hair! Dawn from either Chosen or again OMWF Sideshow may not want to release too many "action figures" in dresses as they might think it may affect sales among males, but that sure didn't hurt Drusilla and Darla's sales. And I think there are a lot of females who purchase the Sideshow Buffy line. There are definately a lot of females who post here! First, a question though... What episodes are Werewolf Oz and Xander based on? All the other releases are very clearly a particular episode, but that doesn't seem to be the case for these two. While I'm at it, what episodes are Giles and Lorne from? Not that it really matters for these two, as they both are iconic versions of the characters. If the suit is as well tailored as the prototype pics make it appear (with creases in the pants!), I think this is a first for Sideshow. Not even their James Bond line with the Tuxedo's paid this much attention to detail! However, the new James Bond Legacy line is paying more attention to the tailoring of the suits, so maybe Sideshow is paying more attention to detail. Anyway, I'm getting long winded and side-tracked, but I have recently rewatched the entire run of Buffy (over the past 8 months), and don't recall the Xander and Werewold Oz outfits.

I really can't answer your questons as such, as the characters all seem rather generic. Giles certainly appears to be from about Season 2, or there abouts. Really hard to be sure when it's a guy in a suit!
Personally, I'd like to see an Anya in the OMWF butterfly top, or even the Charlie's Angels gear (with roller skates!). Either way, it should be something colourful and fun, and something Sideshow could get their teeth into. I'm not so sure about Hell's Bells though. People might think I'm collecting Barbie dolls.

I'd like to see Anya from OMWF in her butterfly top and her gypsy skirt. Tara would also look good from OMWF. I'd like Dawn to be in her outfit from The Grave were her and Buffy fight off the earth demon thingies. I think Werewolf Oz is based off Phases and Fear Itself and Xander is from some episode in season 7, maybe it's Chosen, i dunno.

Some good shouts there.
I reckon that a Fool For Love Spike/William is a great idea. But then, I thought it would be good if someone did Spike, Angelus, Darla and Dru from that episode in really elaborate victorian costume. I was hoping the 6" range might have it, but I've 'retired' from the range, and collect Sideshow now.

I want the same figures that Sue mentioned. But add to mine: Joyce from Band Candy to go with Giles, Tara from OMWF, Anya with the Bunny costume, and also Dru and Darla in the period costumes too. I want the full set! And Anyanka from The Wish instead of Anya. I do want a human faced Anya but that can be Bunny Anya.

I'm a male and that didn't occur to me... Is it more normal for male to buy male figures and females to buy female figures? I have no issue buying either as long as I like the figures... other than Barbie . Although do realise now that I've got more male 12in scale figures than female, but then Sideshow seems to release more male figures!

I think Werewolf Oz is based off Phases and Fear Itself and Xander is from some episode in season 7, maybe it's Chosen, i dunno. I'll have to check out Phases again then for Werewolf Oz. Not sure about Xander being from Season 7 though. He's wearing a Sunnydale T-shirt, so I would think it would be from his high school days. Much thanks though! I agree with others here that the OMWF Anya in the butterfly top would be really nice, however it would have exposed articulation like Prophecy Girl Buffy did. I think Sideshow tries to hide the articulation if they can help it. That's why I doubt we'll see a "The Wish" Anya or Anyanka either, as she was wearing short sleeves and a skirt, which would expose the arms and legs. The Bunny Suit is fairly obvious, but I would want that to be an accessory she could wear, so she could be displayed in normal clothes as well. That's why I think it might be better for a Sideshow Exclusive. Of course, 5 of the last 6 Buffy/Angel releases have been Sideshow Exclusives not offered to the direct market. Darla, D'Hoffryn, Cordelia, Lorne, and Giles are only available in the US through Sideshow's website. Plus they have a limit of 1 per customer, which doesn't make sense to me. I don't understand why these releases are limited to just 1 per customer. They are basing the edition size off actual orders, so why not let people order more than 1 if they want to. They are getting full price for these, so it's pretty much pure profit after production costs and licensing. End of rant...

I doubt females really care, but I would think that some of the more feminine outfits might interest females more that males. I think it's more that Sideshow doesn't typically release figures in dresses, and several of the iconic Buffy character outfits are dresses. Unless the character was wearing stockings (Willow and Darla), Sideshow doesn't release figures in skirts. Prophecy Girl Buffy and Drusilla both are wearing long dresses, so they are a bit different. I think that's just Sideshow's approach of trying to hide the articulation, which I think is best too.

Since dst don't seem to want to do it, i'd love it if sideshow made a OMWF willow & tara. And the fang gang in their boxer rebellion get up.

Wouldn't mind a few more monsters though. I've yet to see Moloch in some form! Of course, you cound just have a Sideshow stand on its own and say it's a Marcy Ross figure.

Although do realise now that I've got more male 12in scale figures than female, but then Sideshow seems to release more male figures! I don't know... I'm a male and my FAVORITE 6 inch figure of all time is Hell's Bell's Anya. But she's my favorite character and that was such an iconic episode for her... and I'm gay. All factors I guess. But I would love a 12 Hell's Bells Anya, or the light blue/grey outfit she wore in Same Time, Same Place. Tara, has to be OMWF in the corset dress - or Hush with the criss-cross hair. Camando Riley , I don't really care about Dawn Fred from the Magic Bullet, please please please! Any Wes will do, and Harmony from Harm's Way with the big puffy white fur jacket It's not so much that males buy male figures and females buy female figures, it's more that males are probably less likely to buy an "action figure" in a dress. actually i turn happy wich ever is made when they make figures. Fair point, but isn't there an outfit or style of a character in a particular episode that you think, "that would make a great figure?
