take a breath flobbo let me say this about preordering.....its preordering. money will not be taken away from you (unless its thru cinequest, or if you unfortunately don't have a credit card). i understand about not being able to fore see how you'll be economically in the future, cuz things do happen, but pre-order anyways if anything to show how much more interest there really is in these figures then there appears to be. you could always just "change you mind" later and cancel some or all of your preorders. at least do it til we know the figures are being made, for sure!

It does NOT cost 20 bucks to ship there. If you read on their site, they say that their shipping calculator is NOT working, and that the actual cost of shipping will be calculted when they recieve the order and it's charged. Actually it is 20$...I've checked with their customer service right after finding out about the calculation problem. If I recall, Willow is a Cinequest and MAC members exclusive. The faith statue is available to nonmembers. Dark Willow will be added I'm sure once the member's section is updated. Faith was just added to the regular site. That's just my theory, but they could also be waiting for pics of Willow's base etc. There are quite a few logical reasons why she's not up yet Sure…maybe you are right but they still could have just add D. Willow to the store without a picture. It just doesn’t seems like MAC is too eager to sell this figure because they know that most of the retailers buy these figures directly from them and yet they didn’t bothered, at least, notifying them about the release and asking them to start preordering. And if MAC going to decide whether to release these figure or not by the number of preorders from Cinequest…then we have a big problem. Edit: also, we, all, can find as many excuses for MAC as we want but it still doesn’t change the fact that MAC don’t do enough to ensure these figures.

Like I’ve said before, I, usually, don’t like preordering but if there would be a store that has a rational shipping rates and don’t charge right away then I would be more than happy to preorder a few of the upcoming figures.

I need to add someting: Why are you so afraid to preorder? The only thing you CAN preorder is Dark Willow and it's not going to be cancelled again because Cinequest is paying for production and I have gotten word from Cinequest that the whole point of them doing all this is because there is a 100% garuntee that it's being released. Now, even in the unlikely event that it is cancelled again (which it's not), you would get all your money back. So what are you worried about? It's not hurting anyone in any way to preorder. If that's waht it takes to get more, then preorder Dark Willow and prove that we want the others also. The only thing I've heard, from other people in this forum, is the Moore is still in talks with companies to have them made. It is not a 100% done deal, this is what Donna has replied to everyone. While they are hopeful that is no concrete. I'm hopefull too but it doesn't mean anything. As far as what I lose if I order from Cinequest they get my money now, I lose 5 months of interest, that's what I lose. I won't be buying just 1 figure, I'll buy a few and would rather keep my money in my bank then give it to someone as an interest free loan.

Edit: also, we, all, can find as many excuses for MAC as we want but it still doesn’t change the fact that MAC don’t do enough to ensure these figures. Again you are 100% correct, just because some company shows interest doesn't mean it will be made. We are all still dealing with MAC here and they cancelled these very popular figures once already and have STILL NOT officially announced anything otherwise. The official cancellation notice is still on their site! It's kind of hard for a retailer to try and sell the figures when the company that makes them still has the cancellation notice on their official website. This just proves Liors point about MAC not doing everything to get these figures made.

They're defnitley not doign s.hit right now to get them made. They haven't put them up yet obviously because they're not ready to be put up. They're doing SOMETHING, they're not just sitting on their asses laughing at us as we cry at their feet hehe.
I'm not quite sure how this whole thing got started about it not being official and stuff and you not ordering, the whole point was:
When you can, order them. It doesn't matter where you get them from, because the sales info will still go back to MAC. So just whenever you can, order them. It also doesn't concern us about the retailers. Ok, so they won't be ordering just yet. But WE know we can, so what would it hurt to place our orders now? Yes the retailer's matter, but since they can't/won't order now, let's do what we can and order them ourselves. Dark Willow is the only one that has officially been announced (It was announced in person instead of on the web, an announcement is an announcement, no matter how you look at it, it was announced) so if that's the only one you feel comfortable ordering then go ahead and order it. If the shipping rates are too high, email donna and preorder it with MAC. Just becuase it isn't on the site doesn't mean you can't order them.

MAC doesn't charge till they ship unless they have a new policy for this figure, so I say wait to preorder from them. Dark Will is OFFICIAL and the other Wills look to be released but aren't as definite. After talking to Clay in Chicago, I have the feeling that Fox pulls a lot of the strings here, and more heat should be directed at them, not MAC. It's not news that Fox is a bunch of power maniacs when it comes to licensing "their" characters, but I think Buffy and Angel figures hinge more on them than on MAC...I think MAC would be anxious to sell these but Fox is holding back.

Two things I would really like to see:
1. FOX advertising these upcoming figures in the DVD box sets! Dammit, why haven't they done this yet is beyond logic.
2. That FOX would friggin' push for these figures to be produced in a larger run and released on RETAIL level! It's time for their licensing and promotion depts. to sweat a little for these awesome figures. Maybe make them a store excusive... but for god's sake, get these figures out and in the public's eye!
Just had to vent.

At this point I hope MyPopStore will be carrying the Dark and Vamp Willows so I could order Faith statue as well and save on shipping but if MAC and Cinequest would be the only stores to sell those figures (what I highly doubt) I might need to use someone’s help. In any case, your offer is highly appreciated. Thanks!
