Kathi says not for another 2-3 weeks.
Most likely so they can finish all of series 5 and have them all up for order

Well, it's nice to have some news about it at least. Thanks, Flobbo. And thanks to Kathi, too.

Well I certainly can't wait to pre-order the other 2 Willow's (since I already pre-ordered the Dark Witch Willow from cinequest).
Still, what about Tara and Anya? Especially Tara!

*gurk*! ...I'd forgotten I ended up spending the money I had put away for these figures...I need to buckle down and save money from my next few paychecks, lest I end up Willowless! but other than that, I'm very excited, I've been waiting for the opportunity to preorder for a very long time. Or at least it seems that way.

Man how am I going to afford to get all these figures also. I wish I was rich to support my buffy/angel figure habbit. Hey is this new Kathi as nice as donna was? Because I e-mailed Kathi about how I couldn't get into the collectors society part of the web site (like it was happening to so many of you a while ago) and she said "I will update your info for the members only section of our website within the next 24 hours..." Well it has been 48 hours and I still can't get in. I know nothing has been updated yet in the section. But I want to make sure I can pre-order when the day comes so I deffinately get the willow figures. I am wacky like that. Does anyone who experienced this problem a while ago know what I should do? ;D

I'm sure everyone can wait a little longer...we've waited this long, what's a few extra months? And is MAC really that bad? You can't blame them for mistakes of getting delayed or whatever else happens...At least they are making the effort to atone for that cancelation crap. -CMK

And is MAC really that bad? You can't blame them for mistakes of getting delayed or whatever else happens... -CMK Where have you been? That's all we've been doing in this forum, jeesh! There is NO ONE else to blame but MAC, remember: They screwed up the license, they delayed and delayed and never told us the figures were in danger of cancellation in the first place. (they kept moving the release dates back then announced SARS had played a part in the delay, etc...) They announced it on July 3rd at 5:15 before a 3 day weekend and shortly thereafter pulled down their forum because of the overwhelmingly negative reaction. I don't think this is news to you. It's amazing how fast people forget. You gotta go back and reread the post from early July. Of course we blame them and no one else!!! This mess is not our fault.

Exactly Rileyfan, MAC loves delaying product endelessly and then running low on cash. They don't actually want to make the figures, because that might lead to successful business. Fox is totally cooperative and helps move the figures along with a speedy approval process. They made up SARS as a smokescreen to cover up the Angel II delays, and that's why it came out of nowhere and was contained so quickly. No Chinese factories were ever actually closed down. Anyway, I hope that we can get series V cases, because I want multiples of all the figures.

Actually in all that sarcasm, you where right about one thing: SARS was used as smokescreen to cover up the Angel 2 delays, because Angel 2 was never sent to the factories in the first place. SARS might have caused closing all factories in China but it never was the real reason for Angel 2 delay.

It was probably to them a blessing in disguise so they could try and get more orders while waiting, but then decided to not send at all and just cancel. None of us are there so none of us can conclusively say what exactly happened

SARS was such a BS excuse.
I cannot believe Clayburn Moore actually wrote that in a post (That's probadly the most important reason why they took down those boards)
They should really apologize to us for that, people died from SARS and MAC used it as a smoke screen. Pretty callous.
Repeat after me:
"The Angel Buffy figures we're NEVER delayed due to SARS. If they really were we would have them by now"
Some people should have the words "MAC apologist" under their screen names so we know where they're coming from and can immedaitely discount their post.
Would make things much easier

None of us are there so none of us can conclusively say what exactly happened Flobbo is 100% right. SARS did not just creep on. They did used that and it's really awful that they did. The entire USA economy would have grounded to a halt if the SARS outbreak was that bad.

We all have eyes and have been amazed at their awful business decisions so really you may be right. LOL

It was probably to them a blessing in disguise so they could try and get more orders while waiting, but then decided to not send at all and just cancel. None of us are there so none of us can conclusively say what exactly happened Well I don’t believe that all factories in China were closed down, otherwise, all other action figures companies had the same problem and non of the action figure were released in the market for quite some time. And it seems way to convenient that only the factories that produce MAC figure were shut down. In any case, none of that matters at the moment. Our current concern is not what happen months ago but what’s going to happen in the next few months. So, let’s leave it (for now at least) and try to get more news from MAC regarding the new figures…at least some info on the TBA Willow variant.
