That's a cute idea, having a vampire figure for a blood drive, lol. Still I really wish they released a duster wearing Spike before. It's nice for some collectors I guess.

Oh, wow! That is the Spike figure that I have always wanted! Season 5 Spike in a Long trenchcoat! If I were able, I would definately go to San Diego, give some blood, and pick this up. I wonder if this is the only way to get him? I'll probably have to troll ebay again, either way, it is a good cause, so I am glad that they are finally making him even if I never get him.

I'm glad to see this figure made. Especially since its for a good cause. I just hope there are other ways to pick one up. I would glady donate blood to get one but I'm not in San Diego.

Anybody here want to sell me theirs? Of course, if the only way for you to get it is to have your blood trained, I will completely understand if you want to keep it.

This sucks, the last time I missed out on the Spike that they did with the blood drive and again it's the same thing. I still haven't gotten the other Spike through ebay.

Most people that got him last time only wanted him to sell on ebay and weren't even Buffy fans, that is the only thing that was the bad part. Hopefully I will find one on ebay for a reasonable price, although probably not because as I said in the previous post I never got the other one.

This sucks, the last time I missed out on the Spike that they did with the blood drive and again it's the same thing. I still haven't gotten the other Spike through ebay. Which spike was this? The T1 Spike, it wasn't as good as this one, but it was one that I really wanted. cgi.ebay.com/SDCC-Exclusive-Buffy-T1-Spike-figure-limited-to-500_W0QQitemZ6065446911QQihZ009QQcategoryZ348QQssPageNameZWD1VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItemI'm thinking if I don't get this new Spike on ebay, if I payed someone for a Season 5 Spike and a "Just Rewards" Spike and shipping, could someone here swap heads on them for me. I always wanted a Vamp head on the Season 5 Spike and a regular head on the "Just Rewards" Spike. I've never done it before and some of you guys are pros at this.

It's too bad that they released such an important figure in such a very limited amount.
Last year they ran out of the Spike exclusive very fast at the SDCC blood drive. We'd have to get there early the first day to get it.
Personally, I think the new human Spike head from the upcoming Deluxe line would look better on that body than the regular DST Spike head. It has darker eyebrows and more expression.
But it's fun that they did this variant. I love when DST gets creative like this!

There's 200 more figures this year compared to last. Like someone mention earlier, many people who got the T1 figure were not collectors. That just show just how many people are willing to donate blood for a good cause regardless of what freebie is out there.
