A perfect example of the kick ass one off episodes that populated the beginning of season 7.
this is one of my favourites and a great way to bring willow back into the group again. the demon although slightly wierd I found creepy enough and golumish, and his way of killing was quite horrible.
I just really enjoyed the idea of them all being in the same place at the same time without even realizing it etc and following both plots together, I loved the scene with spike when he is talking to both of them.
Oh and paralysed Dawn was a typical Jane espenson comedy piece which i loved, and she writes anya so well.
a definate 10/10

One of my favorite Buffy episodes Jane Espenson's episodes are always great. The demon in this episode is entirely disgusting. One of the only demons on the show that made me shudder. I like the scenes with Spike, when he's crazy. "I'm insane, what's his excuse?" lol! Love the Anya moments in this episode as well. The spell scene she did with Willow was funny, "It was kind of sexy wasn't it?" lol. And making Dawn salute was hilarious.

What a fantastic episode! I love it! Willow's return in Sunnydale and her subconscious casting a spell so that she can't see her friends and vice versa! Wow! A great story to tell! I loved Gnarl as I thought he was very creepy and evil and insane. Anya and Willow's interactions were nice to see and were kind of funny too. The end was really nice as well with Buffy giving Willow some of her strength so that Willow can heal herself. This shows that despite what happened, they have a friendship that will last. Excellent episode! 10/10

I'm a bit less keen on this episode but never the less, I still like it quite a lot.
The demon was just horrible and grotesque and it's one of the reasons I like this episode. I also liked the how the "gap" between Buffy & Xander and Willow was explored though I don't like the lame explaining for this mess-up. Even though Willow can't control her magic very well it's still feels off when she "unintentionally" caused this split of dimensions between her and Buffy & Xander.
I think it could be handled better is Willow was either completely missing or there but distant and cold in her behavior.
IMO, 8/10.
